11 Bit Studios unveiled a fresh trailer for their latest creation, The Alters, emphasizing the likenesses it shares with its predecessor in spirit, This War of Mine.
First debuted in 2014, “This War of Mine” presented a haunting portrayal of the hardships of war, requiring players to make difficult decisions for their own survival. Similarly set apart from war yet sharing common themes, according to its creators, “The Alters” delivers a comparable journey of personal survival.
In the futuristic realm, the story unfolds where main character Jan Dolski finds himself inhabiting a floating space station alongside multiple iterations of himself. This intriguing narrative is set to debut in the current year on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and personal computers as an exclusive launch title for Game Pass subscribers.
