This paper, ‘Agentic AI, Medical Morality, and the Transformation of the Patient-Physician Relationship’, investigates how agentic AI-systems capable of independent action and complex coordination-not only raises familiar concerns regarding safety and bias, but also has the potential to fundamentally reshape core tenets of medical morality and the patient-physician relationship.
