The Agency’s Filming Update Seemingly Confirms The Fate Of Michael Fassbender’s Spy Show Beyond Season 2
The Agency obtains information about the second season production and the show’s continuation. Starring Michael Fassbender, with Jeffrey Wright, Jodie Turner-Smith, Richard Gere, and more, this Showtime thriller series that debuted in November follows a CIA agent (Fassbender) who has difficulty giving up his undercover persona as an old love reappears. The series was renewed for a second season in December, with filming scheduled to start in April 2025.
Currently, Alex Berger shared some news about season 2 of “The Agency” in an interview with Variety. He confirmed that filming for the upcoming season is happening right now in London, and it just started recently. Interestingly, Berger mentioned that the writers are already crafting scripts for season 3, hinting at plans for the show to continue past season 2; however, Showtime has not yet officially announced another season as of this writing.
