As a dedicated gamer and avid streamer, I’m always keeping my eyes peeled for the latest and greatest shows to hit our favorite platforms. And let me tell you, this past week (July 18-24) has been a doozy! The top 10 most-watched shows on streaming, according to Reelgood, are nothing short of intriguing.
Supporters of “The Boys” on Amazon Prime Video were eagerly anticipating a return of their beloved series, and it didn’t disappoint – it became the most-watched show during the week of July 18-24. Here’s what else joined it in the top 10 rankings, according to Reelgood: (paraphrased version)
The top 10 most-watched shows on streaming (July 18-24)
As a passionate binge-watcher with years of experience exploring various streaming platforms, I’ve come to appreciate the unique gems each service offers. Prime Video, with its impressive library including “The Boys,” is a must for any fan seeking edgy and engaging content. Max, on the other hand, is my go-to for high-quality productions like “House of the Dragon.” Apple TV+ is my preferred choice when I’m in the mood for thought-provoking series such as “Presumed Innocent” or “The Morning Show.”
I wasn’t shocked to learn that “House of the Dragon” ranks second. Though I haven’t kept up with the latest episodes on HBO’s popular series, I understand that a new installment has been released and is generating lots of buzz on social media. As for me, I’m a dedicated fan of “Presumed Innocent,” which sits comfortably at number three. With the season finale of this Apple TV+ legal drama having just aired, I anticipate it will maintain its success.
Despite receiving a significant amount of criticism and negative reactions, “The Acolyte” on Disney+ manages to rank among the top 10. Its devoted fan base is quite impressive. I must admit, “Those About to Die” from Peacock took me by surprise as well, making it to the top 10 list. Personally, it’s not a show that appeals to me, but with all episodes released at once, I thought its viewership would grow gradually.
Next week, I believe the top shows will include “House of Dragon,” “The Bear,” and “The Boys” once again. However, “Batman: Caped Crusader” and “Unsolved Mysteries Vol. 4” might make an appearance as well. The eagerness of Batman fans is palpable, so I’m confident they’ll devour all episodes of “Caped Crusaders” in one go, despite their Aug. 1 release date. As for the widely-watched true crime series “Unsolved Mysteries” on Netflix, its popularity ensures that we’ll be tuning in for every episode.
Which TV shows are you most looking forward to watching this week? Are there any top 10 shows in the list that you haven’t been tuning in to yet?
