Hannah is set to marry her long-time partner Mitch Burke on Friday.
The presenter made headlines earlier this month when she was aboard a challenging Qantas flight.
passengers were taken aback when informed that they needed to pay for their newly-booked flights using either cryptocurrency or cold hard cash, following the necessity of diverting their plane to Azerbaijan.
The QF2 flight heading from London to Singapore had to change direction and make an unexpected landing, as one of the passengers suffered a heart attack.
Over 300 travelers unexpectedly found themselves in a puzzling predicament at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, located within the nation’s capital city of Baku.
The passengers were informed that due to the crew exceeding their legal work limit, the flight to Singapore couldn’t go on. Additionally, the aircraft needed routine maintenance, so it had to be grounded for a while.
They were given the option of staying overnight and using their current tickets for a later flight, however, those unable to do so immediately could opt for alternate flights by paying with cash or cryptocurrency.
Hannah, who was on board the plane, took to social media to slam the situation.
Currently, Qantas and around 499 other passengers are stranded in Azerbaijan due to a medical emergency. Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to secure an alternative flight, and airport staff are requesting that we pay for new flights using cryptocurrency or cash. This is unacceptable, she stated.
