Hey everyone, so Riot Games just dropped some exciting news for us Teamfight Tactics (TFT) players! They’re hosting the K.O. Coliseum Tactician’s Crown tournament. I’ve got all the details on the TFT Set 15 Tactician’s Crown event – the dates, what we can expect, and where to catch all the esports action. Get ready!

TFT K.O. Coliseum Tactician’s Crown
The TFT Set 15‘s Tactician’s Crown tournament is scheduled for November 14th to 16th. The event will showcase the top 40 players from four different regions as they compete for most of the $470,000 USD prize pool. Who will ultimately win? We’ll have to wait and see!
The competition will feature 40 players total, broken down as follows: 12 will qualify from the TFT Pro Circuit, eight from the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, eight from China (CN), six from the Americas (AMER), and another six from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

TFT Set 15 Tactician’s Crown format
From November 14th to 16th, players will accumulate points with each match they play. The winner of each game will get eight points, while those finishing in eighth place will receive one. On the first day, the 40 players will be divided into five groups to play six games. These groups will be randomly reassigned every two games, based on current point totals. After the sixth and final game of Day 1, the top 32 players will move on to Day 2.
Day 2 will consist of four rounds, bringing the total to four for that day. Players will carry over their scores from Day 1 and compete in four separate lobbies. After that, the field will be reduced to 24, then 16, and finally to the top eight players. Ultimately, the four players with the highest combined scores from both Days 1 and 2 will advance to the grand final.
As usual, the championship match will use the checkmate format. In this format, the first player to get to 20 points and then win a first-place match will be crowned the K.O. Coliseum champion.
