TFT patch 16.5 notes: All buffs, nerfs, and updates

Here are all of the buffed, nerfed, and adjusted units in TFT patch 16.5.

Riot Games has released the information for the upcoming Teamfight Tactics (TFT) update. Here’s a breakdown of everything new in TFT patch 16.5.

TFT patch 16.5 notes

TFT patch 16.5, released midway through the Lore & Legends set, includes a lot of power increases for units. Building on changes made in patch 16.4 that improved the chances of getting three-star versions of three-gold units, this patch makes those units even stronger. According to Riot’s Katie Guo and Rodger Caudill, two-gold units are also getting buffs to help them compete with higher-cost carries.

The developers noted that Graves, Orianna, and Rek’Sai become less effective after reaching three stars. They’re increasing the power of their three-star versions, but because Orianna is already quite strong at one and two stars, they’re slightly reducing her power level until she reaches three stars.

Riot Ukime and Riot Prism explained that it’s generally not worth getting Leona, Malzahar, or Zoe to three stars, especially since Malzahar players often try for a fourth star instead. Vayne, while weak later in the game, gets a boost when she reaches three stars to make her more useful.
