This update to TFT’s cosmetic items will go live on May 28.
In an upcoming update, the way Teamfight Tactics (TFT) handles its cosmetic tier system is set to change. As per Riot Games, this modification aims to make the tiers easier to understand and more consistent. Here are some details about what’s coming in TFT patch 14.5 and beyond.

TFT cosmetic rarity tiers
- Standard
- Legendary
- Mythic
- Prestige
Beginning with update 14.5, Teamfight Tactics (TFT) will simplify its cosmetic item rarity structure to just four levels: Standard, Legendary, Mythic, and Prestige. Previously rare and epic items will now fall under the standard tier. Consequently, any Little Legends that were previously considered rare or epic, but were released before update 14.5, will now belong to this category.
Additionally, Riot Games provided more specifics regarding the forthcoming adjustments. You can find these details by simply touching or clicking on each segment, as listed below. Please bear in mind that this list may not be comprehensive.

For the remaining part of update 14.5, you can expect various item improvements alongside the launch of the TFT Pride Month 2025 event.
