Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown Post-Launch Roadmap Unveiled, Ibiza Map to Be Added For Season 2
As an ardent gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the post-launch roadmap for Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown has truly piqued my interest. The prospect of four seasons during its Year 1, each bringing new activities, vehicles, rewards, and themes, is a tantalizing promise indeed.
As a dedicated fan, I’m thrilled to share that Nacon has unveiled the post-launch plan for Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown! This exciting journey promises four distinct seasons in its first year, accompanied by frequent updates brimming with additional content and game modes. Each season will roll out every three months, introducing fresh activities, vehicles, rewards, and themes to keep our gaming experience vibrant and engaging.
At the initial release, you can dive into Season 1 with 60 stages for character advancement, 50 levels for your clan progression in Sharps/Streets, and a complimentary Solar Pass offering 25 tiers packed with cosmetic goodies and an exclusive vehicle to unveil. Following that, Season 2 will reintroduce the Ibiza (Eivissa) map from Test Drive Unlimited 2, meticulously recreated at a 1:1 scale, just like our depiction of Hong Kong Island in the main game.
In the upcoming Season 3, an extra 20 clan levels, a novel Solar Pass, unique vehicles and cosmetics are set to be introduced. This will precede the introduction of the new Clan War mode where the Sharps and Streets clans will face off across Hong Kong and Ibiza. Moreover, an additional 30 clan levels and seasonal content will also be accessible at that time.
To wrap up Year 1, Season 4 will feature the comeback of the Casino from TDU2, allowing you to gamble with virtual currency on a range of gambling activities such as poker and slot machines. In addition to new vehicles, cosmetics, and other rewards, there will be an additional 50 player levels. Upgrades are planned for camera and steering wheel animations.
Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, set to release for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on the 12th of September, is introducing the concept of real estate/housing customization and motorcycles as potential future elements in the game. The Silver or Sharp Edition will provide early access starting from the 10th of September, while the Gold Edition grants a full week of early access.
