Phoebe, who resembles Tess Daly, was there with her father Vernon Kay as they honored the nominees for the EE Rising Star award.

At the Vanity Fair EE Rising Star event, the broadcaster (aged 50) and his oldest daughter Phoebe (20), whom he shares with the Strictly Come Dancing judge, were among the notable attendees.

On Wednesday, a father and daughter pair rejoiced with the nominated individuals before the EE British Academy Film Awards at a celebration held at The Four Seasons Hotel’s Pavyllon Restaurant in London.

At the event, Vernon exuded elegance while wearing a stylish double-breasted suit paired with a navy turtleneck sweater beneath it.

Simultaneously, Phoebe exuded elegance in a streamlined black camisole top with a deep neckline, accompanied by flared pants that matched the top.

She matched the coord set with shiny silver stilettos, a metallic bag, and an assortment of diamond accessories.

In December, Phoebe bore a striking resemblance to her renowned mother as they both featured together with her father Vernon in an EE holiday advertisement.

In a lively commercial, the Radio 2 DJ took on the task of organizing holiday preparations, only to be compelled to recruit his small dog, Mickey, in locating the Christmas ornaments instead.

Furthermore, Phoebe pitched in during the holiday celebration when it appeared her unfortunate father had overlooked ordering a turkey.

Previously this past December, Tess stood alongside her spitting image of a daughter, sharing glimpses of her family’s Christmas celebrations.

In a playful moment, the host of Strictly Come Dancing, aged 55, along with her oldest child, posed for a selfie in front of a mirror, while her partner, Vernon, was busy performing in a pantomime show on stage.

In the past few months, Phoebe has often attended high-profile gatherings alongside her well-known parents, a move that underscores her growing recognition within the industry.

Ever since she turned 18, Phoebe has been stepping into the spotlight, having made her first appearance on the red carpet with her dad at the premiere of John Wick Chapter 4 in March.

During the event, TV host Vernon stood by his side to offer support, as he had earlier shared that both he and Tess strive to ensure their kids build their own careers rather than relying on their celebrity status.

The celebrity pair finds great significance in the fact that they each rose to prominence first as models, later transitioning to television careers, following their discoveries.

In a conversation with TopMob in 2022, Vernon expressed that he and his wife value helping their children discover their own identities rather than having everything handed to them, attributing this philosophy to their upbringings in the North.

Vernon explained: “We give them freedom regarding their future decisions since it’s crucial for them to discover who they are, a process that shapes their character and personality.

Tess shares the same viewpoint as her spouse; in 2021, she shared with TopMob how she managed to keep her kids from being swayed by the allure of fame, instilling in them values such as morality, respect, and a strong work ethic.

It wasn’t until Phoebe was seven that she found out her mom worked on television, because Strictly’s host shared that Phoebe’s parents, Phoebe and Vernon, had worked hard to protect their family from the spotlight and keep them away from the public eye.

I was this enigma, a mystery to many, unrecognizable even on Saturdays, when in reality, I was simply living out the role of their beloved daughter they mistook for a weekend worker. That is, until one fateful day when our eyes met and she exclaimed, “There’s my mom!” It took that moment for her to realize the truth – I wasn’t just a Saturday worker; I was her.
