Tess Daly looks as glamorous as ever as she gives an insight into New York trip with look-a-like daughters

On Thursday, Tess Daly continued to radiate elegance as she shared details about her recent journey to New York City alongside her daughter duplicates.

The presenter, aged 56, who is married to Vernon Kay and has two daughters – Amber (aged 16) and Phoebe (aged 20) – recently took Amber on a vacation following her GCSE exams.

The ladies explored various attractions, such as crossing the Brooklyn Bridge, attending a Yankees baseball match, and stopping by Tess’ former residence.

In a chic outfit, featuring a white blouson with voluminous sleeves and a mini skirt, Tess posed alongside Phoebe for a snapshot near the renowned bridge.

She titled her post: “Back in New York City for the first time as a mom in 20 years! Had an amazing, scorching-hot extended weekend. Posting photos from our GCSE trip, sharing my old neighborhood with the girls.

Recently, Tess expressed a touching sentiment upon receiving her MBE, acknowledging and appreciating some prominent figures in the entertainment industry for contributing to her achievements.

In the list celebrating notable individuals on King Charles’ birthday, both television personality the TV presenter and Claudia Winkleman were recognized for their significant contributions to broadcasting, with the former receiving an honor.

The Monarch and Monarch Consort regularly enjoy watching Strictly Come Dancing, a program they both host.

For over a decade, this duo has been an integral part of the Strictly Come Dancing team, starting from its debut in 2004. Tess has been the main show’s presenter alongside Sir Bruce Forsyth, while Claudia, aged 53, hosts the companion program, It Takes Two, on BBC2.

Following an impressive performance, Claudia ascended to co-hosting the Sunday results show with Tess on the BBC, eventually taking over as the primary co-host in 2014 after Sir Bruce stepped down and reduced his commitments.

Now, having been recognized for her hard work, Tess unveiled an album filled with photos, including some well-known individuals she’s collaborated with.

Apart from the album she wrote, she expressed: “Still can’t believe it… Feeling incredibly humbled and deeply honored to have been granted an MBE for contributions to Broadcasting, in the birthday honors list of King Charles.

‘Should the opportunity arise, I’d like to honor everyone who made my past 26 years at work so special by dedicating it to them.’

Tess went on saying, “It’s been a tremendous honor to collaborate with broadcasting greats and Knights of the Realm such as Sir Trevor Macdonald and Sir Terry Wogan. Additionally, I want to express gratitude to Strictly viewers for the joy they’ve brought us for the past 20 years. Thank you to each one of you for joining us on this incredible journey; your presence truly makes a difference in the world ✨

Since the beginning in 2004 with the esteemed Sir Bruce Forsythe up until now, 21 years have passed. Massive congratulations to my exceptional friend @claudiawinkle for receiving her award – I never would’ve imagined we’d be celebrating this milestone together, 20 years after our first encounter!

In the rhythm of last year, I found myself resonating with The Queen as she confessed being “one of Strictly Come Dancing’s most fervent admirers.” And just like the rest of us, I can’t help but tune in to witness the mesmerizing performances by none other than Johannes Radebe.

Tess’s spouse, the BBC radio host Vernon Kay, has mentioned before about the genuine camaraderie that has developed between his wife and the Queen. In fact, the Queen has shown interest in learning more about their private affairs.

Vernon, aged 51, stated: “Currently, Camilla and Tess share a genuine friendship. They may not exchange texts directly, but they communicate indirectly via their shared circle of friends and mutual messaging.

When they meet, the Queen often inquires, “Who do you favor most?” She’s curious about the private chatter among them.

It’s surprising to imagine the Monarch and Monarch consort relaxing on their couch, sipping tea, as your spouse hosts Strictly Come Dancing.

Tess, Claudia, as well as Daly (a supporter of the King’s Trust and patron at Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital) and Winkleman (patron of Child Bereavement UK and Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity), all participate in charitable activities.
