Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman reunite for a Strictly reunion with dancers Nadiya Bychkova and Amy Dowden

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman got together on Friday, reminiscing about their time on Strictly Come Dancing after both recently left the show following two decades as hosts.

Oh my gosh, I was living for the photos of the TV hosts with Nadiya and Amy last night! They all looked absolutely incredible – so glamorous and stylish! It was such a dazzling night, and seeing them all together just made my week. Seriously, they were shining!

Fifty-six-year-old Tess turned heads in a sparkly, sleeveless top that showed off her fit arms. The top featured a stylish keyhole design and was paired with a classic black shirt.

Claudia, 54, chose a similar outfit: a light silk blouse paired with dark trousers. She completed her look with her signature eye makeup and tan.

Nadiya shared glowing photos on Instagram, praising Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman as ‘two incredible women, two true icons’.

It was such a pleasure sharing the stage and this experience with both of you. Thank you for all the wonderful moments, elegance, and memories you made on Strictly and beyond. You’ve left a beautiful mark, and I’m really going to miss you both!

Janette Manrara has shared that BBC executives are still undecided about who will replace Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman as hosts of Strictly Come Dancing.

The hosts revealed last year that they were leaving the BBC show, and since then, many potential replacements have been suggested for the highly sought-after presenting role.

Professional dancer Janette, 42, recently shared some behind-the-scenes details about the show. In a new interview, she revealed that no one currently knows who will be replacing departing cast members.

I doubt the producers have made a decision yet. Whoever takes over has big shoes to fill, so finding the right person is crucial.

‘They’re probably the best two jobs in live television,’ she told Heat magazine.

This news follows reports that Sian Welby was a possible candidate to host Strictly Come Dancing.

The TV host, 39, could take over from Claudia after she and Tess left the BBC show last year.

Sources at The Sun report that show executives believe Sian would be well-suited to present the segment where contestants receive feedback from the judges – known as the ‘Clauditorium’.

Sian is most famous for hosting the breakfast show on Capital FM, and she’s also filled in as a guest host on This Morning a number of times.

Sian isn’t as prominent a candidate as some of the others who have been considered for Tess and Claudia’s positions.

She has all the necessary qualities for success, and one thing really sets her apart: a connection with a younger audience, built through her work at popular radio station, Capital FM.

She’s a natural at quick, witty conversation thanks to her radio background, which is perfect for the lively atmosphere of the Clauditorium. Plus, her experience on ‘This Morning’ proves she understands what makes good television.

Sources say Emma Willis and Zoe Ball are now also top contenders for the hosting role.

Emma, age 49, now hosts the BBC Radio 2 afternoon show after taking over from Zoe, 55, who left the position after only seven months.

Zoe has expressed strong interest in the hosting position, having previously presented the Strictly spin-off show, It Takes Two, until 2021.

According to a source, Zoe and Emma are the two finalists competing for the position, and only one of them will be selected.

According to sources, executives at The Sun on Sunday are looking for a host with a classic style to work with a female stand-up comedian who offers a more unconventional approach.

Everyone agrees that the funny, creative spirit Claudia brought to the show, especially through her segment called “Claudatorium”, should continue.

The Daily Mail contacted Emma Willis and Zoe Ball’s representatives for comment.
