Tesla’s Cybertruck arrives in Rocket League for free

As a long-term Rocket League enthusiast, I was taken aback by Psyonix’s recent announcement of adding the Tesla Cybertruck to the game for free. I’ve been following the game since its early days and have grown accustomed to the pricing structure of licensed vehicles, which has remained consistent over the past four years.

Instead of making Tesla’s notorious truck obtainable through purchase, Psyonix announced that players could earn it by completing in-game tasks, with no cost, only temporarily.

Unlock the Cybertruck in Rocket League‘s “Summer Road Trip”

Instead of the high price tags for vehicle bundles in Rocket League during the previous four years, which were equal to or even surpassed the game’s launch cost, Psyonix has announced the “Summer Road Trip” event. From July 23 to August 6, players will have a chance to participate in a series of in-game tasks to earn the Cybertruck reward.

As a gamer, I’m excited for the upcoming event with three unique challenges. I’ll have the opportunity to jump into the first two challenges right away, but the third and last one won’t be available until July 31. That means I’ll need to focus on mastering the first two challenges before I can get my hands on the highly anticipated Cybertruck in Rocket League.

How to complete all three challenges and unlock the Cybertruck

It’s fortunate that the Cybertruck challenges in Rocket League are generally straightforward to finish. You can wrap up each challenge in under an hour just by enjoying some gameplay.
