As a seasoned horror enthusiast with over two decades of gut-wrenching experiences under my belt, I can confidently say that the upcoming Terrifier 3 has piqued my interest like no other. Having survived countless jump scares and sleepless nights, I’ve developed an unquenchable thirst for the macabre and the grotesque – and from the looks of it, this third installment promises to deliver.
Terrifier 3 has landed a fresh Rotten Tomatoes rating ahead of its release on Friday (October 11).
The horror series follows Art the Clown (David Howard Thornton), a deranged serial killer who terrorises the residents of Miles County, New York.
In the third installment, character Sienna Shaw, portrayed by Lauren LaVera, and her sibling Jonathan, played by Elliott Fullam, face the challenge of starting anew as they piece together their lives after the dramatic conclusion of the last movie.
However, with the arrival of the joyful holiday season, a malevolent character resurfaces, aiming to transform their festive bliss into yet another harrowing nightmare.
Prior to its theater premiere, the movie earned a 75% rating on the aggregate review platform from 44 critic reviews, a score that’s somewhat below Terrifier 2’s impressive 86%.
As a dedicated gamer, I’ve got to say that this movie is something else! Critics are raving about its intense horror and over-the-top violence, even going as far as calling it the best in the series yet. But, some folks felt the storyline could have moved a bit faster. Still, I’m hooked and can’t wait to see where this franchise goes next!
