Terri Irwin has opened up about her life together with her late husband Steve Irwin.

Across the globe, Steve Irwin was famously known as the “Crocodile Hunter.” Sadly, he passed away in 2006 following an encounter with a stingray during filming on the Great Barrier Reef.

In a recent conversation, a visibly moved Terri, aged 60, divulged insights into her 14-year union with the renowned conservationist, expressing that if only he were still alive.

In an interview with Us Weekly magazine on Monday, Terri expressed that she believes the most enjoyable aspect of our marriage was the laughter and excitement we shared together.

In my experience, I’ve found myself rather predictable compared to Steve. While advice abounds about living each day to the fullest, it’s a challenge many of us, including me, struggle to consistently meet.

Steve truly acted with immediate action. I can’t help but feel that if we had a term for someone who doesn’t put things off, that would be Steve to a T – he was the epitome of someone who does tasks promptly.

In another part of the conversation, the grandmother praised her kids Bindi (age 26) and Robert (age 21), along with her four-year-old granddaughter named Grace Warrior.

She expressed that her life is incredibly vibrant and abundant,” she remarked, her voice tinged with sadness. “Each day, I long for Steve to be by my side, yet I feel incredibly blessed.

Following the Irwin family’s tribute to the Crocodile Hunter, they celebrated at The Steve Irwin Gala held in Las Vegas.

The occasion takes place yearly in both Brisbane and Las Vegas, paying tribute to the life and achievements of the conservationist.

Unfortunately, Bindi and Terri had to skip the gala gathering the previous week due to an emergency situation. Bindi needed immediate surgery because her appendix had burst.

The occasion showcases a three-course dinner and serves as an annual tribute to the esteemed conservationist known for his work with wildlife.

The money collected during the gala event is utilized for the benefit of Wildlife Warriors, a wildlife conservation charity established by Steve and Terri in 2002.

The gala dinner is one of the Irwin’s most highly anticipated social events of the year.

In the previous year, I found myself overwhelmed by my deep connection with my mom Terri and sister Bindi. Sharing such a profound experience as the passing of our beloved Steve, we’ve grown even more tightly knit, forging an unbreakable bond that transcends time.

During his interview on The Kyle and Jackie O Show, Robert remarked, “Loss seems to be the one thing that binds a family more powerfully than anything else… it’s something people often overlook.

‘I think when we lost dad, our little tight-knit family unit became incredibly tight.

‘And we travel with the whole family everywhere most of the time. It’s nice.’

Robert was just two years old when Steve died while his sister Bindi was six years of age.

In 1970, it was Bob, Steve’s father, who constructed the famous Australia Zoo from scratch. Later in 1992, he passed this zoo down to his now-deceased son, Steve, and his wife Terri.
