As an obsessed fan of the Irwin family, I can’t help but be moved by Terri Irwin’s heartfelt tribute to her daughter Bindi on her 26th birthday. The throwback pictures of mother and daughter over the years brought a tear to my eye as I imagined the love and bond they share.
On her daughter Bindi’s 26th birthday, which fell on a recent Wednesday, Terri Irwin posted a charming old photo of her on social media.
A conservationist, aged 60, posted on Instagram a heartfelt collection of photos featuring herself and Bindi throughout the years, accompanied by an affectionate message in honor of her dear daughter.
I came across some old photos that Terri recently posted, and one of them caught my attention. It was a throwback picture of me, smiling from ear to ear, holding our precious newborn Bindi in my arms. The moment was so adorable that it brought back fond memories.
In addition, she shared an old photograph on social media showing young Bindi assisting her father Steve Irwin in waxing a surfboard – a heartwarming memory preserved through the lens.
Steve met his unfortunate end on September 4, 2006, at the age of 44, when a stingray stabbed him in the chest during the production of a documentary about the Great Barrier Reef.

Your positive outlook on life and people consistently brings joy to my daily experiences. In spite of adversity, you demonstrate bravery and maintain an unwavering sense of hope.
You’re still the finest daughter we could ask for, and now you’ve become an incredible mother to your little girl. It feels like you’ve been sent down from above to be part of our family 26 years ago. We’re grateful every day for the blessing of having an angel among us.
In the comments, Bindi expressed her deep affection: “I adore you so much, Mum. You have my heartfelt gratitude. I feel incredibly blessed to be your child.”
In 2020, I was fortunate enough to marry my lovely wife Bindi. On her birthday this year, I wanted to take a moment on Instagram to express my love and appreciation for her.
Next to a picture of them smiling together, he captioned: “Happy birthday to the most amazing person I’ve met! We’ve always predicted that this would be your year, and I wholeheartedly agree.”
‘Your compassionate heart will always be my favorite thing about you. I love you.’
Bindi promptly replied to her husband’s heartfelt tribute with these words: “Dear love, I’m deeply touched. You and Grace mean the world to me.”
On March 25, 2020, amidst the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, Bindi exchanged vows with her American wakeboarding partner in a small, intimate wedding ceremony.
On March 25, 2021, I was overjoyed to be welcomed into the loving family of my new husband and wife, who had celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary at Australia Zoo just a day prior.
