TEPPEN is shutting down on March 30, 2026, as an offline version is confirmed for players

Story Highlights

  • TEPPEN will end online service on March 30, 2026, after nearly seven years.
  • An offline version will be released, allowing access to cards and play data.
  • In-game purchases will be gradually disabled starting December 22, 2025.

TEPPEN, the free-to-play digital card game created by GungHo Online Entertainment and Capcom, will no longer be available after March 30, 2026. The developers announced the game will be shutting down, ending its run of almost seven years.

The offline version will launch on the same day TEPPEN shuts down

TEPPEN, launched in April 2019, quickly became popular with players due to its fun gameplay and characters from well-loved Capcom franchises like Street Fighter, Monster Hunter, Devil May Cry, Resident Evil, Mega Man, and others. Though the game is shutting down unexpectedly, there’s still a silver lining.

We’re sad to announce that the game TEPPEN will no longer be available after March 30th, 2026 at 8:00 PM Pacific Time / March 31st, 2026 at 3:00 AM UTC. Thank you to everyone who has played and supported TEPPEN since its launch in 2019. For more information, please refer to #TEPPEN.

We’ll release an update on the day service ends that includes an offline mode. This will let you still see your game history and play with the cards you’ve earned in several offline game options.

When playing offline, you’ll have access to Hero Stories and Adventure modes, be able to battle against the computer, and customize your decks without any restrictions. You can also browse a complete card collection, view results from previous tournaments, personalize your profile, and even watch the game’s original opening movie.

The game will stop accepting purchases of in-game currency on December 22, 2025. Then, in early March 2026, players will no longer be able to buy card packs or exchange jewels.

Okay, so I heard they’re releasing an update that I can either download or apply offline. I’ve got until April 29, 2026, to get that done. Just a heads-up, though – the game and the official website will no longer be supported after July 30, 2026, so I need to enjoy it while I can!

It’s sad to see TEPPEN end, especially with so many mobile games closing down lately. However, the team behind it has two promising games in development – Disney Pixel RPG and PUZZLE & DRAGONS 0 – and with the power of those franchises behind them, I’m optimistic they’ll create excellent games in the future.
