Developer Edelweiss and Publisher Marvelous have officially announced they’re working on a mobile game set in the popular Tensui no Sakuna Hime universe. This upcoming app will be available for both Android and iOS devices, offering an engaging mix of action, Japanese folklore, and farming simulation that expands the franchise’s existing appeal.

Tensui no Sakuna Hime celebrates its fourth anniversary

Alongside the mobile game, Edelweiss unveiled two other ventures as part of the Tensui no Sakuna Hime franchise’s four-year anniversary. Officially, a follow-up to the anime series that received widespread praise during its July 2024 broadcast is now in production.

Simultaneously, Marvelous unveiled a new console game called “Sakuna Hime Garden: Heart Ring and the Gears of the World”. The title character is Kokorowa, the deity of wheels and inventions, who takes center stage, maintaining the series’ tradition of blending captivating narratives with profound cultural elements.

The IP (Intellectual Property) called “Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin” was introduced when it was launched in 2020 by Edelweiss and Marvelous. This action role-playing simulation game has also spawned a manga and anime series. With more than 1.5 million copies sold, the Tensui no Sakuna Hime series remains popular globally.

Regarding the upcoming mobile game launch, no specific date has been announced yet. Although the intricate workings of the game are still kept secret, enthusiasts can anticipate updates and pre-registration chances soon.
