Morgan Riddle turned heads with her stylish look at the Australian Open, responding to negative comments about her body made by online trolls.
Taylor Fritz’s girlfriend, a well-known personality often associated with tennis players’ partners (WAGs), was seen at a private event hosted by Ralph Lauren in Melbourne on Thursday.
The 28-year-old fashion influencer, who lives in the US, looked stylish in a Ralph Lauren outfit featuring a blue striped dress shirt.
Morgan added a navy blue tie and a pair of white, cotton trousers, as well as white designer heels.
She completed the look with a pale brown slouch purse and wore a jumper loosely over her shoulders.
The blonde beauty kept her makeup simple and fresh with a pink lip, and styled her hair in a ponytail, leaving a few strands loose around her face.
This followed Morgan responding to cruel comments about her weight on social media, jokingly telling her fans, ‘It’s no wonder all influencers are using Ozempic.’
Camille Riddle has become well-known in the world of men’s tennis and has also gained a large following online by sharing content about her lifestyle, fashion, and travels.
She’s been featured in prominent magazines like Vogue and the New York Times, where she was dubbed ‘the most famous woman in men’s tennis’.
She’s become a popular choice for brands to work with at big sporting events thanks to her strong presence on social media, especially Instagram and TikTok. However, this attention has also brought negative comments and online harassment.
She responded strongly this week, arguing that recent discussions have contributed to the rise in influencers using weight-loss drugs like Ozempic, which has led to serious and life-threatening eating disorders.
Riddle shared a photo from the Australian Open where she was wearing an off-the-shoulder crop top that showed a bit of her stomach.
Although the photo appeared fashionable and refined, someone on Instagram commented ‘it’s a boy,’ leading people to believe Riddle was expecting a child.
Riddle suggested in the caption that many influencers are either using Ozempic or struggling with an eating disorder.
I just saw this on Instagram and I’m honestly so frustrated for Riddle! She posted a picture looking totally fed up, and the caption was simply, ‘god forbid a girl has organs.’ It’s just… unbelievable that she even had to say that. It perfectly captures how ridiculous the situation is.
The post received nearly 23,000 likes, including reactions from influencer Costeen Hatzi, Brooke Warne, and basketball player Tess Madgen.
And Riddle’s followers were quick to call out the troll over the comment.
‘Trying to be mean on purpose? Yuck to you,’ one replied.
‘A woman leaving this type of comment.. how disgraceful. Sad. Seek help,’ replied another.
Despite the controversy, Riddle is still projected to earn approximately $500,000 from her Australian Open experience. This income will come from sponsorships, appearances at events, and collaborations with brands.
