Tenants trailer: New anthology horror movie with seven gripping stories of terror

As a dedicated horror enthusiast with years of chilling viewing experiences under my belt, I can confidently say that the latest offering from Cranked Up Films, “Tenants”, is not to be missed. Having binge-watched every installment of the V/H/S franchise and being a die-hard fan of anthology horror films like Hauntology, I’ve developed an appreciation for the genre’s ability to weave together diverse tales of terror in one cohesive narrative.

If you’re a lover of chilling horror anthology movies such as the latest Hauntology or the V/H/S series, make sure to watch out for the new production from Cranked Up Films. The thrilling title, Tenants, is a spine-tingling addition to the realm of terrifying anthologies, offering seven bone-chilling tales of terror that unfold within a single apartment building where dread lurks around each turn.

Excitedly, I’m thrilled to share that in partnership with 13th Floor Productions and Wallick Productions, Cranked Up Films has announced the release of “Tenants” on VOD this Tuesday, September 24. That means it’s officially available for all of us fans to rent or buy now and enjoy at our convenience!

The story centers on Mary O’Neil’s character, Jonie. Jonie wakes up in an unfamiliar apartment complex while searching for her lost sister. To make matters worse, Jonie soon learns that a mysterious shadow figure is stalking her. As Jonie traverses the various floors, the building’s tenants begin facing their own sinister horror stories from behind closed doors.

According to the released preview, we can expect a high level of graphic violence, a chilling spider monster, and numerous other bizarre and disturbing ideas.

Check out the official red-band trailer below.

The trailer appears gruesome and terrifying, yet it hints at some comedic relief as well. This is something I have admired in anthology series and films – their ability to provide a diverse array of narratives and genres.

In films such as “Malum,” O’Neil is well-known for her roles. She shares the screen with actors like Clarke Wolf, whom she worked with in “Malum,” Christa Collins from “Aileen Wuornos: American Boogeywoman,” Tara Erickson of “American Satan,” Myles Crawford from “Adam+Eve,” Douglas Vermeeren known for “Black Creek,” Kathryne Isabelle Easton, best recognized in “Valleyheart,” and Rib Hills starring in “Reminisce.

I am thrilled to share the film! It had a lot of moving parts executed by the best cast and crew. I’m so lucky to have worked with such immensely talented people to bring this labor of love to the screen.

Mary O’Neil on Tenants

Apart from acting, O’Neil was also involved in the film’s scriptwriting and production. The movie includes scenes directed by Buz Wallick (in “You’re Not Supposed to Be Here”, “Hoarder”, “Need Anything”), Jonathan Louis Lewis (“Laundry Day”), Sean Mesler (“Acting Rash”, “The Photograph”), and Blake Reigle (“Nah”).

🕹️ As a gamer, I just got some exciting news! The highly-anticipated Tenants hit digital shelves globally on Tuesday, September 24th! Now, you can grab your popcorn and enjoy this movie from the comfort of your home. Whether you choose to rent it or make it a permanent addition to your collection by purchasing it, the choice is yours! 🎥💻🍿
