Temuera Morrison calls on fans to push for The Book of Boba Fett Season 2: ‘Send a fax, a letter, or an email!’

In late 2021, The Book of Boba Fett stirred excitement on Disney+ by delving deeper into the adventures of the infamous bounty hunter within the Star Wars universe. It even revealed the truth behind his fate in the Sarlaac pit. Yet, ever since then, fans have been left pondering – could we see Boba Fett again in a potential second season?

Temuera Morrison’s relationship with Star Wars is not limited to The Book of Boba; his portrayal of Jango Fett in Attack of the Clones (2002) paved the way for Boba’s appearance in the live-action Star Wars universe. Now, Morrison’s visage is often associated with the Fett family, a lineage known across Star Wars as one of the most formidable and esteemed.

At a recent gathering over at FanX Tampa Bay, as reported by Collider, I, a die-hard Star Wars fan and the man who breathed life into Boba Fett across both “The Book of Boba Fett” and “The Mandalorian”, spilled some beans about the show’s possible future. To my disappointment (and that of many fans), I have yet to receive any whispers regarding a potential new season. This lack of clarity has left us all in the dark, even though it’s clear that the “Mandoverse” as a whole has captured our hearts and minds.

Regardless of the lack of communication from Lucasfilm, I continue to harbor my unwavering excitement about the character I played. I eagerly look forward to the possibility of a new adventure in Boba Fett’s enduring storyline.

I strongly feel we should cherish these moments and take action. I urge each one of you to pen a letter, fax, or email to the influential figures at Lucasfilm. I’m confident they would appreciate our thoughts. Let’s advocate for Daniel Logan and Temuera Morrison, asking them to be given more significant roles in their upcoming projects.

In a playful exchange, the actor who played young Boba Fett in “Attack of the Clones” and voiced him in animation, jokingly commented on Morrison’s time with Star Wars: “Filming for Star Wars is always mysterious, you don’t find out about it until almost the last minute, right? However, Temuera Morrison, he’s the most covetous person in Star Wars. He has portrayed more characters than anyone else in Star Wars – from Jango, Boba, all the Clones, Rex, Cody, Fives, and many more, making him the Star Wars character with the most roles.

If another season were to occur for “The Book of Boba Fett”, there are numerous paths it could choose to follow. The first season concluded with Boba Fett becoming the Daimyo, taking over Jabba the Hutt’s criminal empire on Tatooine, which sets up the possibility of a thrilling sequel filled with high-risk scenarios. However, Morrison is well aware that the “Star Wars” universe often veers off in unpredictable directions.

He pondered on the development of his character and contemplated delving further into Boba’s reasons and intricate aspects of leadership within the criminal underworld. “There’s always room for discovery,” he stated. “He’s a complex character, and I’m eager to uncover more about him.

It’s understandable that fans might find the lack of updates annoying, but it’s evident that Morrison’s passion for Boba Fett remains strong. In his own words, “As long as the fans are interested, I’m more than willing to return.” Be it a new season of “The Book of Boba Fett,” a role in the upcoming “The Mandalorian and Grogu” movie, or another “Star Wars” series, Morrison is prepared for whatever lies ahead.
