As a die-hard fan of dramatic series and someone who has waited weeks for new episodes to drop, I can hardly contain my excitement for the return of “Tell Me Lies” season 2! It’s been an eternity since our favorite toxic lovebirds, Lucy and Stephen, graced our screens with their on-again, off-again romance.

As September approaches, it’s exciting to know that numerous shows and seasons are about to debut on streaming platforms. Luckily for us, the second season of “Tell Me Lies” is among them! Hulu has indeed made us wait quite a while since the last episodes were aired in October 2022.

Here we are, prepared to uncover what awaits Lucy and Stephen, along with their intriguing circle of friends. There’s bound to be surprises and unexpected events in store for us. We just need to exercise a bit of patience to see how everything unfolds, but rest assured, there’s plenty to look forward to from the upcoming season, even before it officially premieres.

Tell Me Lies season 2 release date

As a devoted fan, I can’t contain my excitement as I share the news that “Tell Me Lies” season 2 premieres on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024! The first two episodes will be available at 12 a.m. PT, exclusively on Hulu. After the grand premiere, one new episode will be released each week until the finale on Wednesday, Oct. 16. In total, there are 8 captivating episodes to keep us hooked! Here’s the episode release schedule:

  • Episode 1 – Sept. 4
  • Episode 2 – Sept. 4
  • Episode 3 – Sept. 11
  • Episode 4 – Sept. 18
  • Episode 5 – Sept. 25
  • Episode 6 – Oct. 2

Lucy and Stephen are in “a new version of their volatile dynamic”

It appears that the second season will be filled with plenty of drama, as Lucy and Stephen’s turbulent relationship persists. According to the logline, “Lucy and Stephen find themselves back at college, still at odds following their split and seemingly stuck in another iteration of their tumultuous cycle.” Additionally, aside from the central couple, the group of friends will also have their own set of challenges to navigate, some of which were hinted at or revealed towards the end of season 1. It seems everyone has issues they’ll need to confront.

Cast: Who’s new and returning?

In the upcoming season of “Tell Me Lies”, many of the principal actors from last season will be reprising their roles. This includes Grace Van Patten portraying Lucy and Jackson White playing Stephen. Additionally, the main friendship group is set to return to further unfold their narratives.

Additionally, there are two captivating newcomers I can’t wait to see bring something fresh to the narrative – none other than the mischievous Tom Ellis portraying Oliver, and Thomas Doherty stepping into the role of Leo.

Actor from Lucifer is portraying a professor at Baird College who has a stern approach that makes him an imposing figure, disliked by not everyone among the students, according to Deadline. Meanwhile, Doherty, known as Leo, appears to be stepping into a romantic role for Lucy in the production. Here’s the complete cast lineup!
