Shrill

Okay, so I just finished watching Shrill, and honestly, it totally blew me away! Everyone on IMDb seems to feel the same – it’s genuinely funny, but also really touching. It follows Annie, a young woman trying to figure out life, love, and her career, all while dealing with the challenges of being plus-size. It’s based on Lindy West’s book, and it’s super smart about how it handles body positivity – it’s not preachy at all, just really funny and relatable as you watch Annie gain confidence and learn to love herself.

Shrill is available to watch from Wednesday 25 February on Netflix.
