As an experienced gamer with countless hours spent navigating vast virtual worlds, I can’t help but feel relieved and intrigued by the fast travel system in Once Human. The journey through this game promises to be treacherous, filled with monsters and unknown dangers, making the convenience of fast travel a much-needed respite.
As an avid explorer in the expansive world of Once Human, I frequently find myself venturing into uncharted territories, always on the lookout for new discoveries. Yet, the thrill of exploration often comes with its fair share of perils, such as the numerous monsters lurking around every corner. To make my journey less treacherous and more efficient, there’s a fast travel system in place. In this guide, I’ll share some insights about fast travel in Once Human that might just prove handy on your own adventures.
How to unlock teleportation
Initially, make sure to further develop the narrative. To accomplish this, break free from the monolith where the game commences. It’s advisable to be vigilant as you proceed, for you will encounter numerous chests containing useful gear and supplies along the way. After escaping, move towards Mitsuko’s house. However, the Siren will almost instantly attack the building. Before engaging in combat, take a moment to explore the room and open additional chests. By the end, you should have amassed enough resources to construct a crossbow. Although it’s weak, this weapon should be sufficient to vanquish the Siren.
After the conflict has ended, carry on with the narrative until you receive a task to explore the remnants of the monolith for supplies. Upon encountering Mary, she will provide you with a blueprint for a weapon. Then, return to the main base where you’ll gain the ability to use swift transportation.
Fast Travel Features
As a gamer, I’ve found myself in a situation where I can’t just jump to any location on the game’s map. The teleport function works exclusively between activated towers scattered across the world. Moving around also drains energy, and the more distance I cover, the quicker my energy depletes. However, there’s an exception – returning to base. No matter where I am on the map, I can always head back home without spending any energy. It’s crucial to note that fast travel comes with a cooldown period of 10 minutes.
