TEKKEN 8 Season 2 gets emergency patch after community outrage
It seems quite apparent to me that there’s a gap between the preferences of our community and the outcomes we’re seeing from the adjustments made.
On March 31, TEKKEN 8 Season 2 was released, but not all players were pleased with the update. In response to community feedback, the developers announced an emergency fix for the game on April 3. Here’s the latest information about the TEKKEN 8 Season 2 emergency patch and other updates.
TEKKEN 8 Season 2 outrage explained
The strong criticism towards TEKKEN 8 Season 2 arises from moves that are challenging to respond effectively to. One such move is Paul’s Hammer of the Gods, while Jack-8’s Elbow Jab > Make Some Noise includes a third hit that cannot be interrupted during combat. Subsequently, the creators of TEKKEN 8 published an official statement on X.
According to the post, the root problems behind the two critical concerns depicted in the image have been found, and solutions are being implemented at this time.
TEKKEN 8 Season 2 emergency patch release date
It was shared that a new update, referred to as TEKKEN 8 patch version 2.00.02, is planned for release somewhere between April’s middle and end. This update aims to rectify several changes previously mentioned, such as the modification in the throw break chip damage.
“Despite the deployment of update 2.00.02, we’ll still diligently consider and address any feedback from our community.”
Harada on the TEKKEN 8 Season 2 patch notes
Katsuhiro Harada himself has confirmed the updates for TEKKEN 8 Season 2. He mentioned that the adjustments made don’t seem to align with what the community desires. His emphasis is now on enhancing the overall quality of the game instead.
Harada mentioned that our Battle & Tuning team is diligently reviewing community feedback logs day and night, with a focus on shaping future policies and improvements for the best outcomes. He also expressed his gratitude.
