Tekken 8 Gameplay Trailer Heralds the Return of Heihachi Mishima in October

As a seasoned Tekken warrior with decades of battles under my belt, I can say that the return of Heihachi Mishima in Tekken 8 is like a breath of fresh air in the martial arts tournament circuit! The man just doesn’t know when to stay down, and frankly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Bandai Namco has unveiled a fresh gameplay trailer showcasing the comeback of Heihachi Mishima in the upcoming game, Tekken 8. The ruler of the Iron Fist is now resurrected, adorned with stylish, vibrant red beads.

Choosing a casual and fun off-the-shoulder style with his distinctive black martial arts uniform, Heihachi makes an unforeseen return in Tekken 8, seemingly having met his end at the conclusion of Tekken 7. As suggested by the trailer’s description, “he’s back to break you like a twig”. That hurts.

On the 4th of October, Heihachi Mishima is set to be added to the cast of characters in Tekken 8 as part of the game’s Season 1 release. This will also include the Genmaji Temple DLC battle stage and a free ‘Unforgotten Echoes’ story chapter. Another Season 1 character is expected to debut this coming winter.
