Teen Mom star Kailyn Lowry undergoes surgery to get ‘snatched jawline’ as she shares dramatic procedure photos

Kailyn Lowry has bid farewell to a facial feature that plagued her for years.

The 33-year-old reality TV personality, formerly engaged to Elijah Scott and now single for roughly six weeks, took to social media on Sunday to share updates about a recent cosmetic treatment aimed at reducing her double chin.

Sharing a memory album of bidding farewell to my double chin✌.

Recently on their Coffee Convos podcast, Lowry shared her enthusiasm about achieving a more defined jawline.

In the latest video, she was seated on her hospital bed, wearing a gown and a headcovering before undergoing the procedure. She addressed the camera saying, “Farewell to my double chin.

Another clip shows Pittsburgh plastic surgeon Dr. Tina Ho, making pre-operative marks on her face.

After undergoing the Lowry procedure, she posted a brief video of herself with her face covered in gauze and compression bandages, casually sipping on yogurt.

‘This is day one post op,’ she said from her bed.

In another video, Lowry stated, “Kristen called me a Q-tip, which I find rather offensive, and her friend chuckled behind the scenes.

In another excerpt, Lowry explained her physical constraints while recuperating by sitting up in bed. She stated, “If a fire breaks out, I won’t be able to flee.

In the following video, the bandages were taken off, revealing a visit that seemed like a follow-up appointment with Doctor Ho to evaluate the results.

Drainage tubes were still connected to her neck on both sides, and faint marks from drawn lines were noticeable on her face. Previously, Lowry had mentioned that she would undergo treatment for sagging skin in her neck before being admitted to the hospital as well.

After the operation, additional care involved the use of blue light therapy. This method is known for its ability to eliminate bacteria and decrease inflammation, as stated by The Cleveland Clinic.

As a lifestyle advocate with a family of seven, I’ve navigated quite a few health and beauty procedures throughout my journey – breast reduction, tummy tuck, liposuction, and even a cesarean section. But I must confess, there’s one experience that outshines them all in terms of discomfort: tackling the double chin. In a recent video shared on Monday, I couldn’t help but express my thoughts about this particular journey – it stands as the most painful ordeal I’ve ever encountered in my life.

Expressing some regret she advised, ‘so if you have a double chin, leave it.’

The person expressed their relief that you’re openly discussing the pain associated with surgery. They find it disheartening when influencers downplay their post-operative pain for promotional purposes, endorsing a particular doctor or practice,” said an appreciative admirer. They continued, “Surgery can be quite painful, especially in areas like the face. I wish you a swift recovery.” ❤️

In the last slide, you can see Lowry’s face after surgery, with only a tiny dressing concealing the area of the incision.

On a Sunday, 12 days after surgery, Lowry shared on her Instagram Stories that she was seeking suggestions for engaging TV shows to help pass the time as she continued her recovery process.

I can’t help but marvel at the artistry in her visage, seemingly chiseled to perfection, yet I find myself questioning its authenticity. She confided that a filter was employed to soften the impact of her recent transformation, asserting that she remains as eccentric as ever post-surgery.

Before undergoing the surgery, Lowry shared details about it on her Coffee Convos podcast, explaining that the condition was something she inherited from her family.

In my professional opinion, it’s important to remember that the skin is an essential part of our bodies. I recently encountered a situation where a client requested fat reduction in a particular area, only to be informed by the professionals that there was hardly any fat present, merely skin. This underscores the importance of understanding and appreciating the composition of our bodies, and approaching body modifications with a thoughtful, educated perspective.
