Teen Mom star Kailyn Lowry SPLITS from fiancé amid ‘unique’ challenges co-parenting with four baby daddies

Kailyn Lowry disclosed that she has parted ways with her partner, Elijah Scott, not long after they made their engagement public, approximately a year ago.

In her contemplation about the difficulties of shared parenting with four fathers, the 33-year-old ex-star of Teen Mom seemed to verify that she is currently single again.

In a recent chat with Lala Kent on her Give Them Lala podcast, the mother of seven disclosed that she receives considerable criticism for not being with her children’s fathers.

She chose to depart from everyone due to her ability to handle difficult situations, as expressed by her statement: ‘I’ve learned to stand up for myself and not tolerate disrespect.’ Additionally, she shares a neighborhood with one of the four men who are fathers to her children.

The revelation about her broken engagement came after Kent asked which father Lowry lived near. 

‘Elijah,’ she responded, seemingly indicating that they were living separately. 

The Daily Mail has reached out to Lowry’s rep for comment, but has not heard back at this time.

In late 2023, the previous pair had fraternal twins, Verse and Valley, join their family, while they already have a 2-year-old son, whom they call Rio.

Furthermore, she has a son named Elliott with her former high school boyfriend, Jo Rivera, another son, Lincoln, from her marriage to Javi Marroquin, along with two other sons, Lux and Creed, who are both with her ex-partner Chris Lopez.

In August, Lowry confirmed that Scott had proposed to her when asked about the diamond ring she was wearing on her left hand during her Coffee Convos Podcast appearance.

Instead of her cohost Lindsie Chrisley asking if she had gotten married, the reality star clarified that she is currently unmarried.

‘This is the ring that they give you before you get married,’ she said.

Later on, Lowry disclosed that Scott had previously proposed marriage to her, yet she found these propositions casual as they lacked a ring.

Lowry explained, “I had said something like, ‘Let’s take it as it comes – I’ll inform you, if there’s ever a proposal, we can reassess’ – and then unexpectedly, he presented me with an engagement ring.

Apart from being a well-known TV figure, she shared an unexpected moment: he popped the question when she was preparing to leave, finding her in the bathroom.

Lowry mentioned that Scott didn’t follow the traditional practice of getting down on one knee when proposing to her: ‘Since we’ve already been married, neither of us feel the need for the whole “romantic” act of dropping to a knee and making it all dramatic, as that’s simply not our style.’

At that point, Lowry mentioned her discomfort with being in the spotlight and expressed that she would have found greater contentment if Scott had simply kept the ring on the table and departed.

In the past, Lowry was in a marriage with Marroquin from 2012 to 2017. Later on, Scott got married to Kayla Brooke in 2018; however, their marriage ended only two years after the wedding.

Despite the uncertainty about what led to her breakup with Scott, Lowry commended his composed, tranquil personality during an interview last year.

In an interview with Us Weekly, Lowry stated, “I’ve never encountered something like this throughout my whole life.” She continued, “He’s a heaven-sent being, and I’m unsure of the good deeds I must have done to earn his presence in my life.

Lowry mentioned that her future spouse approaches challenges with an optimistic attitude, viewing no issue as insurmountable, which stands in stark contrast to her previous relationships.

Lowry mentioned that Scott has effortlessly integrated himself into her family, expressing, “My children adore him, and that’s something I’ve rarely witnessed before.

‘She mentioned that Isaac (now called Elliott) and Elijah are inseparable. If Elijah can’t make it to Lincoln’s games, Lincoln will ask, “Where is Elijah?” It shows that he cares more about Elijah’s whereabouts rather than his own.’

Later on, I found myself admired by Lux and Creed, as they seemed to take quite a liking to me. They viewed me as the epitome of coolness, even if I wasn’t necessarily their father figure, more so a cool one in their eyes.
