Teen Mom Farrah Abraham, 34, shops with goth daughter, 16, who flaunts giant tattoos of BATS on her waist

Farrah Abraham and her daughter Sophia Abraham stepped out together in Los Angeles this week.

Sophia, a 16-year-old who will be 17 on February 23rd, revealed bat tattoos on her body. She got the tattoos in October with her mother’s permission; her mother is 34 years old.

On their outing, the Teen Mom star and her daughter showcased different styles, with one wearing bright colors and the other opting for darker shades.

Abraham showcased a bright pink dress with 3D roses on the upper part, paired with knee-high leopard print cowboy boots.

Her frosty blonde hair was in an off-center part and curled into long ringlets. 

Sophia embraced a dark, gothic style, wearing a completely black outfit and dramatic white and black makeup.

The teen’s look included a long-sleeved top and matching sweatpants with a drawstring waistband.

She shared a photo on Instagram on Wednesday revealing her new, dark black hair extensions, just before her birthday.

She shared a photo of her new birthday hairstyle with her 831,000 followers, writing, ‘Birthday hair is done! Feeling amazing. Huge thanks to @adorami_salon for the incredible transformation!’

The high school student included before and after photos to demonstrate the difference in length. 

Last October Farrah received backlash for letting her daughter get her stomach tattooed.

She and her daughter posted videos on social media showing Sophia’s new tattoo: two rows of bats around and under her belly button.

Farrah previously faced criticism for letting her daughter, Sophia, get a septum piercing at 13. Now, she happily watched as Sophia, sporting a dramatic goth-glam look with pale makeup, got a tattoo.

She playfully hinted that Sophia was expecting a baby, leading the teen to jokingly hold her stomach. Sophia then lifted her shirt to reveal a new tattoo instead.

One commenter questioned the parenting, writing, “Is this really how you raise a child? She’s sixteen, and Farrah seems to be acting that age too!”

One person questioned if she was still a child, and another commenter believed she was around sixteen and too young to get a tattoo.

Another user’s comment got over 2,000 likes. They wrote: ‘I’m so happy my parents didn’t let me have free rein when I was a teenager.’

People also commented on the teenager’s elaborate face paint, with one person noting they couldn’t imagine wearing that much makeup every day.

Many people also defended Farrah, with one fan pointing out that she’s always been a fantastic mother.

She prioritizes Sophia’s needs above everything, even in her romantic relationships, and makes sure she’s always supported. Honestly, she finds it really hard to be apart from her! Now, Sophia’s going through a bit of a self-discovery phase, which is totally normal, and her mom is doing a beautiful job of letting her explore who she is and express herself. It reminds me of my own rebellious streak – I got my first tattoo at just 16!
