Teen arrested as woman is left ‘fully unconscious’ after brawl broke out at UK rapper’s Perth concert

A fight erupted at a Central Cee performance in Perth, causing two attendees to get hurt and resulting in the detention of a young male.

On Wednesday evening, a skirmish unfolded at RAC Arena, with the 27-year-old British rapper performing there during the Australian segment of his Can’t Rush Greatness tour.

At approximately 9 PM, Central Cee, whose real name is Oakley Neil Caesar-Su, took the stage, but by 9:40 PM, three audience members had gotten into a physical altercation.

At the concert, an adolescent aged 17 apparently initiated a physical altercation that involved a 25-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman during the performance. The footage of this fight, which lasted more than two minutes, was recorded and shared on TikTok.

A witness at the concert said that he saw the female victim ‘fall unconscious‘ during the brawl.

Campbell Darby, aged 20, shared with Channel Seven that he was so close to her (the girl) at the concert, and due to the situation, he had to step aside, unfortunately causing the girl to lose consciousness completely.

According to Seven News, authorities in Perth have accused a teenager from Gosnells, a suburb in Western Australia, with two charges: one for causing physical injury (assault occasioning bodily harm) and another for a less severe form of assault.

Apart from these charges, he also faced accusations for disturbing the peace in a public area and hindering public officials in their duties.

A Police Spokesperson from Western Australia stated that they believe a 17-year-old individual is accused of attacking both a 25-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman.

‘Both victims sustained bruising to the head and face.

It is expected that more will be claimed about this situation; the youth reportedly refused to comply with being arrested and used disrespectful language towards law enforcement officials.

The 17-year-old boy is expected to face Perth Children’s Court on July 29.

Paramedics were not called to the scene, St John WA spokeswoman confirmed to Seven News.

As a die-hard fan, I’m keeping my fingers crossed while I closely follow the developments. I’ve heard that the authorities at RAC Arena are actively cooperating with the police (WAPOL) in their ongoing investigation.

On the 28th of June, Cee gave a show at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena, and then concluded their tour in Perth at the RAC Arena on the 2nd of July.

Last week, the Day in the Life performer was spotted working out at an outdoor gym in North Bondi.

He was was flanked by an eight-person entourage at the iconic location.

During his recent trip to the Harbour City in January, the artist known for BAND4BAND’s hits stirred up a whirlwind of disorder and bewilderment.

His surprise visit to Sydney’s Oxford Street saw thousands of fans swarm the area.

He visited the suburb of Paddington to promote his streetwear clothing label Syna World.

Meanwhile, chaos erupted on the streets as crowds of enthusiasts queued from 4am, stretching blocks away, eagerly waiting for a glimpse of him in person.

During the late afternoon, I was fortunate enough to be granted my due reward when Cee graciously rolled up in his stylish limousine. Accompanied by his trusted security detail, he gracefully entered the store.

He rose to fame in 2021 with his hit single Obsessed With You.

A year later, in 2023, he scored his first number one in Australia with his song Sprinter.

His distinctive hip-hop approach has led him to collaborate with numerous well-known musicians, such as the Australian rap sensation The Kid Laroi and the renowned South Korean artist Jungkook.
