On a Wednesday update, Teddi Mellencamp provided heartening news about her wellbeing, as she continues her struggle against stage four cancer.
The well-known celebrity from reality TV, aged 43, disclosed that her tumors have noticeably decreased in size, and medical professionals estimate she might be just a few weeks from being completely cancer-free.
In a heartfelt video uploaded on Instagram, I proudly announced that after completing all my medical scans, the tumors within me have noticeably decreased in size. The medical professionals I’ve been working with are optimistic about this development, suggesting that the treatment is working and I am well on my way to recovery, feeling strong and like myself again.
Teddi mentioned that she has two more rounds of immunotherapy left, implying, ‘After that, I’m hoping it’s all over, and I’ll be cancer-free.’
I plan on maintaining an optimistic perspective since my doctor recently encouraged me with words similar to, “You’ve done well so far, and you can handle this.
In her post, she expressed excitement about a recent development: The tumors that had metastasized to stage 4 (melanoma in her brain and lungs) have either diminished or vanished. This means she has around 6 weeks left of immunotherapy treatment, and doctors are hopeful that if everything proceeds smoothly, she will make a full recovery.
