Teddi Mellencamp has slammed Amazon for ‘hurting her feelings’ amid her stage 4 cancer battle.

43-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, who recently announced that her cancer has advanced, expressed her displeasure on Instagram about a half wig and half baseball cap she received from an online retailer.

She wrote: ‘On the opposite side of my scalp, there’s no hair left at all. Could you suggest some comfortable wigs that don’t cause itching or heating issues?’

I hoped you would be fantastic. Unfortunately, they fell short, causing me some disappointment.

The celebrity, who earlier expressed feeling like she was near death, has already gone through over twenty surgical procedures in her fight against cancer that spanned two and a half years.

Initially, Mellencamp was diagnosed with skin cancer (melanoma), but it has since spread to her lungs and brain. She revealed this information to US Weekly last week.

Days after her interview she discovered she had four new tumors on her brain.

In simpler terms, the child of musician John Mellencamp is coming to terms with the possibility that her children – Slate (12), Dove (5) and Cruz (10) – might need to navigate their lives without her imminently.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d like to shed some light on the progression of cancer. When we reach Stage 4, it signifies that the initial cancerous growth has metastasized, or spread, to other areas within the body. This stage is considered the most advanced and serious due to the widespread nature of the disease. It’s crucial to remember that early detection and treatment can significantly improve outcomes, so maintaining regular health screenings is essential.

She mentioned that she had a total of eight tumors, six in her brain and two in her lungs. These tumors developed as a result of melanoma spreading throughout her body and forming within various parts of it.

Due to her serious medical condition, Mellencamp’s treatment strategy has been adjusted. The star expressed that she will learn more about the situation on June 1st. If additional treatment or surgery is required, or if it means the end, it’s a difficult reality to accept.

‘It’s got to be extremely difficult to think about the end.’

In the course of my life, this particular challenge has been the most formidable I’ve encountered so far. Yet, it seems a bit less daunting now. During my time in the Intensive Care Unit, the situation was excruciatingly tough due to my memory loss. A particularly poignant moment occurred when I discovered it was my daughter’s birthday and I couldn’t be there with her; it was heart-wrenching. Even though I can’t be as present for my children as I usually would, it continues to bring a sense of sadness.

 Mellencamp has undergone immunotherapy and radiation treatment in an attempt to beat the cancer. 

As a lifestyle advisor, I’m sharing an update that follows a heartfelt disclosure from a celebrity: One of my fellow Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast members has chosen to step away during my battle with brain cancer.

Teddi revealed Garcelle Beauvais has not reached out once. 

However, she said Kyle Richards has been there for her from the start of her cancer battle in 2022.

Teddi shared that she experienced migraines this past year, prompting her to consult a healthcare professional. Upon examination, she was diagnosed with six brain tumors and two lung tumors. These tumors were found to be a result of melanoma that spread (metastasized) into the affected areas.

To gain access to premiere medical facility Cedars-Sinai hospital, the ex-RHOBH cast member reached out to one of her old colleagues, asking, “How can we get into Cedars?” Kyle, being helpful, made calls and managed to secure a way for us to enter. In the end, it was Kyle who came through in our time of need.

It took only about a day for an extraordinary surgeon to successfully extract four brain tumors from me, unbeknownst to us that they had been present for anywhere between six months to a year.

Teddi shared that while numerous Bravo celebrities have stood by her during her struggle, there’s one who hasn’t gotten in touch with her at all, and another who set aside their differences to offer support instead.

This past week, I learned some heart-wrenching news about my beloved friend, Teddi. It appears that her ongoing fight against brain cancer has taken another tragic toll, as she is now reportedly preparing her precious children for the hardest of outcomes.

‘Teddi is a fighter – anyone who has watched Real Housewives can attest to that,’ Radar reported.

However, the thought that she’d conquered this challenge, only to be confronted with another devastating prognosis, drains her resilience.

She shared with her kids that she wasn’t feeling well (meaning mommy’s sick), assuring them she would recover (but she is going to be okay). However, revealing the full extent of her situation (the dark truth) to them now is causing her great distress.

Teddi strives hard to maintain a positive outlook amidst her struggles, yet primarily, she is concerned about her loved ones and overcoming cancer for their well-being.

According to the news source, Dr. Jerome Spunberg stated that Teddi is likely to encounter a challenging future filled with painful therapies, possibly leading to a sad outcome.

As a die-hard admirer, I must share that Spunberg hasn’t managed to eradicate Teddi’s cancer, but he cautioned, “Melanoma is infamous for its rapid spread, and all too often, additional tumors emerge even as medical professionals focus on treating the existing ones.
