The Ted Lasso actor, who shares 11-year-old son Otis with Olivia Wilde, was casually dressed for the day in a blue hoodie, brown pants, an off-white cap, and black sneakers.
On a bright, sunny day in Southern California, the Emmy-winning actor was wearing black-framed glasses hanging from his sweater.
Olivia Wilde, known for her work on the 2022 film Don’t Worry Darling, wore a navy blue t-shirt with a yellow design. The shirt featured the phrase ‘Reach out and touch someone,’ referencing a classic AT&T advertisement.
The actress and filmmaker paired a pink New York baseball cap with classic jeans and retro mustard-yellow sneakers that had red stripes.
The two started dating after meeting at an after-party for Saturday Night Live in 2011.
Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis got engaged in late 2012 and had two children, born in 2014 and 2016. They ended their seven-year engagement in November 2020.
It’s been over two years since they finalized their difficult child custody agreement in September 2023.
Wilde and Sudeikis’s one-time custody battle centered on where their children would live.
After ending her relationship with Jason Sudeikis, Olivia Wilde began dating Harry Styles. She preferred to live primarily in Los Angeles, with occasional time in London, but Sudeikis favored New York City.
Things got heated in the custody battle when Jason Sudeikis’s lawyers surprised Olivia Wilde by handing her custody papers while she was onstage at CinemaCon in Las Vegas in April 2022.
In court documents recently obtained by Daily Mail, the actress described how she was served legal papers as ‘extremely aggressive’ and the most forceful approach possible.
She believed being served at the event was a deliberate attempt to intimidate and surprise her.
Wilde stated that Jason’s public display of their personal issues and potential damage to her career was harmful to their children.
Because Jason and I haven’t been able to agree on a plan for our children outside of court, I’ve officially started the process to gain custody through the Los Angeles courts.
Sudeikis later clarified in legal documents why he chose to serve Wilde with papers while she was in Las Vegas, referencing the fact that she was staying with Harry Styles in London at the time.
He explained that he didn’t want the ceremony held at Olivia’s partner’s house in case Otis and Daisy showed up, and he also didn’t want it at the children’s school because other parents might be there.
Jason Sudeikis mentioned that the process server hadn’t been able to deliver legal documents to Olivia Wilde at her hotel, so he took the opportunity to serve her while she was on stage at the event.
Sudeikis explained he was very upset by how he found out about the details of the situation.
He acknowledged the process server was simply doing her job, but expressed sincere regret for what occurred.
Olivia’s presentation was a significant occasion for her, and I’m truly sorry the incident overshadowed it.
