Apple TV has released a longer preview of the next season of Ted Lasso, bringing fans another glimpse of Jason Sudeikis as the cheerful American football coach now managing a soccer team in Richmond. This season, Ted faces his most difficult assignment yet: coaching a women’s professional soccer team in a lower league.
The recently released trailer opens with a touching reunion between Ted and Roy Kent (played by Brett Goldstein). Roy has been named the new manager of AFC Richmond after Ted Lasso left at the end of season three, and the two share a warm hug under the team’s iconic “believe” sign, showing there are no hard feelings.
Roy and Keeley Jones (Juno Temple) could find themselves reconnecting in the upcoming season. A recent trailer shows the former couple meeting at AFC Richmond, with Roy appearing to still have feelings for Keeley as she leaves.

Rebecca Welton, the owner of AFC Richmond (played by Hannah Waddingham), is actively pursuing a relationship with the Dutch pilot she met in season 3.
Tanya Reynolds, known for her role in Sex Education, is joining the cast as an assistant manager for the women’s team. Brendan Hunt will also be back as Coach Beard.
