As a seasoned gamer with decades of Dota 2 experience under my belt, I must say that Team Spirit’s decision to bring in young blood from Yellow Submarine is a bold move, but one that I find intriguing. Having watched these players grow and make their mark in the scene, it’s fascinating to see them join forces with Team Spirit.
Both players are from Yellow Submarine as Team Spirit ventures into young talent once more.
For the forthcoming season, it’s been announced that Team Spirit has made changes to their Dota 2 lineup. The organization is bringing in two new players who were previously part of Yellow Submarine. These fresh additions are Alexander ‘Rue’ Filin and Alan ‘Satanic’ Gallyamov.
Team Spirit add two new Dota 2 players
At this year’s TI2024, Team Spirit didn’t perform up to our usual standards, ending with a disappointing 9th to 12th place. We faced Extreme Gaming in the lower bracket and lost 1-2. Our results at Riyadh Masters 2024 were also not impressive, as we finished in the same range. Consequently, some changes have been made to our roster in an effort to improve our performance moving forward.
In this transfer period, we’ve explored numerous possibilities to bolster our team lineup. However, we’ve opted to bring in promising young players, whose abilities we are already familiar with. Nurturing youth is a core aspect of our club’s ethos and a key competence of our management. We are eager to regain our standing in the Dota 2 world, and while it presents a fresh challenge, it’s exactly what we needed after last season. Stay tuned to Team Spirit for an exciting rollercoaster ride of new feelings!

Immediately following their TI appearance, the organization announced that two of its players, Illya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk and Myroslav “Mira” Kolpakov, would be taking a break from the active roster. On September 18, 2024, Team Spirit made this announcement officially. This departure opened up spots for two new players, and Team Spirit chose to bring in promising young talents by signing them from Yellow Submarine.
What is Team Spirit’s Dota 2 roster?
- Alan ‘Satanic’ Gallyamov
- Denis ‘Larl’ Sigitov
- Magomed ‘Collapse’ Khalilov
- Alexander ‘Rue’ Filin
- Yaroslav ‘Miphoshka’ Naidenov
Returning to its origins of nurturing raw talent and catching opponents off-guard with creative gameplay, Team Spirit’s revamped lineup promises to deliver. However, whether this new team maintains the same level of excellence is yet to be seen.
