Team Secret secure two stand-ins for Belgrade Dota 2 event
As a dedicated follower of Team Secret’s journey, I can’t help but feel a mix of anticipation and apprehension as they prepare for the FISSURE Belgrade 2025 qualifiers. The team, still relatively green despite their storied history, has undergone another shakeup with the addition of two stand-ins, Parker and MikSa`.
Team Secret continues its search for glory with two new stand-ins
Team Secret has revealed its stand-ins for an upcoming Dota 2 tournament, with Puppey aiming to rebuild and restore Team Secret’s former glory. The team will participate in the FISSURE Belgrade 2025 qualifiers, and they have just announced their full roster for this competition.
Team Secret adds two new Stand-ins
David “Parker” Nicho Flores and Mihajlo “MikSa`” Jovanovic have been brought on as substitutes to help the team attempt to secure a spot at the FISSURE PLAYGROUND Belgrade main event. They are participating in the Western Europe Qualifier, with only one team advancing from this group to move forward for the Main event.
As a devoted fan, I must say that Team Secret, though fresh and newly assembled since November 2024, has yet to leave a lasting impression on me, particularly at the ESL One Bangkok qualifiers. Unfortunately, they missed out on reaching the main event, finishing in the lower bracket positions of 7-8th. Their loss against NAVI during the closed qualifier was a setback in their debut performance.
The “FISSURE PLAYGROUND” competition, valued at over a million dollars, involves sixteen teams in battle. This grand tournament commences on January 25, 2025, and extends beyond a week, concluding on February 2, 2025. Among these teams, eleven will receive direct invitations, while the other five will secure their spot by qualifying through regional competitions.
What is Team Secret’s Dota 2 roster?
With the recent announcement, here is Team Secret’s Dota 2 roster ahead of the Belgrade event:
- David “Parker” Nicho Flores
- Aleksey “Ainkrad” Diveevskiy
- Mihajlo “MikSa`” Jovanovic
- Misha “Kyzko” Galkin
- Clement “Puppey” Ivanov
2022’s FISSURE PLAYGROUND Belgrade Western Europe Closed Qualifier begins on December 18 and ends on the 22nd. This qualifier is a tournament with eight teams battling it out, following a single-elimination format. Team Secret and MOUZ are considered strong contenders throughout the qualifiers, boasting the best odds of advancing. Yet, only one team can emerge victorious and secure a spot in the Main event, scheduled for late January 2025.
