TL vs KC in FST 2025

2025’s First Stand tournament saw the initial collision between Team Liquid, hailing from the League of the Americas Conference, and Karmine Corp, who represent the League of Legends EMEA Championship (Europe, Middle East, Africa). The competition was underway!

In this contest, we’re experiencing our initial competitively played game since the lane swap adjustments were deployed on live servers.

Game 1

The initial stage of the game was tranquil and unhurried, but an excellent strategy by Team Liquid’s bottom duo, along with UmTi, led to Yeon securing a swift double kill in a 3 vs 3 encounter.

In simpler terms, General UmTi kept making a difference on the battlefield and assisted Impact in getting a takedown at the top lane. This was Team Liquid’s third kill, earning them the ‘Feat of Warfare’. However, Canna managed to capture the first tower, which brought both teams level in terms of these feats.

After a period of equal play and brief clashes, both teams scored objectives intermittently. The score remained relatively balanced throughout this phase. KC managed their first kill at the 18-minute mark, but shortly after, TL capitalized on an opportunity in Yike’s jungle, enabling Voracious Atakhan to secure a point for Team LTA.

Team Liquid took advantage of their slight edge and superior team coordination to seize Baron Nashor and Cloud Soul consecutively. With their enhanced strategy, they overwhelmed Karmine Corp, annihilated their base, and won the match decisively with a final score of 20-2.
