Team Liquid ID vs Fnatic ONIC PH: Recap of MLBB M6 Final
During their victorious matches, the Fnatic ONIC PH players exuded a strong sense of assurance. This self-assuredness might have been fueled by an early lead that escalated into complete mastery, or it could have been a comeback, where FNOP seized control from their rivals.
In the contest, Team Liquid ID secured a single victory, showcasing their tenacity throughout. However, it was Fnatic ONIC PH who demonstrated superior play on this occasion.
Fnatic ONIC PH advances to the grand final of the MLBB M6 World Championship.
Team Liquid ID remains engaged in the Mobile Legends esports competition, yet they are only participating in the elimination rounds. Their next challenge is against whichever team emerges victorious from the lower finals between Selangor Red Giants and Team Spirit.
Game 1
Fnatic ONIC PH found a few early kills and quickly built their gold advantage in this game. FNOP were ruthless in team fights and tried to secure all the objectives. Team Liquid ID responded by stealing the third Turtle, but that was a minor recovery attempt.
At approximately the 8-minute mark, TLID was left with just Inhibitor turrets. These turrets were 10,000 gold in debt. By the 10th minute, all of these turrets had been demolished.
Fnatic ONIC PH did not prolong this suffering of their opponents. FNOP won the starting game of the MLBB M6 final with no deaths at all. It’s quite a statement!
Game 2
In game 2, the initial skirmishes were quite balanced for me. However, around minute 8, a slight gold lead shifted from FNOP to TLID. Team Liquid ID then utilized this edge shrewdly, proving effective in battles and capturing the first Lord. This siege resulted in the destruction of two tier 2 turrets of Fnatic ONIC PH.
In a tightly contested battle near the second Lord, Team Liquid emerged victorious. During their second assault, they displayed remarkable restraint. Just one Inhibitor turret succumbed to their attack in this round.
In the third Lord round, Fnatic ONIC PH made an attempt to fight back, but this strategy ultimately proved costly. With several members of the opposing team already defeated, Team Liquid ID effortlessly annihilated their base and emerged victorious in game 2.
Game 3
In a battle near the second Turtle, Fnatic ONIC PH made a strong move, capturing the objective and claiming three enemy lives. Later on, they also successfully seized control of the third Turtle.
In those early victories, having map control turned out to be a satisfying payoff. The Fnatic team managed to capture the Lord, whereas Team Liquid opted to exchange that objective for a level 2 tower instead.
In their initial assault, Fnatic ONIC PH managed to demolish all the enemy’s turrets and secured several remarkable kills, making the opponent’s base imminently fall.
Game 4
During the beginning of Game 4, the balance of power fluctuated between Teams Liquid ID and Fnatic ONIC PH. Both teams managed to accrue portions of gold and secured a number of kills each.
During the third round in the final match of MLBB M6, things didn’t go as planned for TLID. They ended up in a tough spot that they hadn’t anticipated. Two crucial battles were lost, leaving them with a deficit of 5,000 gold.
Initially, Fnatic ONIC PH claimed the first control point (Lord) in the game, leaving no TLID turrets intact following the attack. After a brief pause, FNOP confidently seized an unopposed control point and set their sights on the grand victory of this match. The Fnatic ONIC PH team ensured they eliminated every adversary before ultimately destroying their base.
Shaky path at the M6 World Championship
Both teams had ups and downs during their run to the MLBB M6 upper final.
During the Swiss phase of the Mobile Legends esports competition, Team Liquid ID suffered defeats in two matches. Firstly, they were defeated by Team Spirit in Round 3, and in the initial round (Round 1), they faced their eventual upper final opponents, Fnatic ONIC PH, and unfortunately lost to them as well.
As a diehard fan, I’m thrilled to recount our team, Team Liquid ID’s, journey in the knockout stage. We began with a satisfying revenge against Team Spirit in the upper quarter-final, demonstrating unwavering confidence. The semi-final, however, proved to be a grueling challenge. We took an early lead, winning the first two games, but our opponents, RRQ Hoshi, came incredibly close to executing a full reverse sweep. In the decisive game, Team Liquid showed resilience and determination, ultimately securing our spot in the upper final.
Fnatic ONIC PH breezed through the Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB) M6 Swiss stage without a single loss, with just one game being contested by their opponents, BloodThirstyKings.
As a gamer, I’d say: Our opening match in the Knockout stage was a massive win for us against Selangor Red Giants. However, our semi-final opponents, Falcon Esports, proved to be a tough challenge. It was nail-biting close calls for both teams, but it wasn’t until game 5 that we managed to secure our spot in the M6 upper final with Fnatic ONIC PH.
