In the podcast, the ex-Disney actress reminisced about a past relationship she had with Nick, who is 32 years old. During that period, Taylor Swift was dating Nick’s elder brother, Joe, who is 35 years old.
‘It was cute,’ she began. ‘We were young. We all know and love each other now and it’s so cute.’
‘At that time, our actions weren’t clear. However, looking back, we discovered that the most valuable aspect of those relationships was the bond we formed with one another, which turned out to be quite heartwarming.’
Gomez went on to say, “When I was around 15 years old, and she was about 18, it was the wild, curly-haired Taylor we knew, and she wore so many bracelets stacked right up her arms.
She mentioned that ‘Love Story’ by Taylor Swift was the very first song she heard from her back in 2008, and at that time, it hadn’t been released yet. This beloved country pop hit eventually garnered eight wins out of thirteen nominations.
Indeed, Gomez recounted, “Yes, I was in a hotel room, and the song I heard then remains vividly etched in my memory. It was one of those rare instances where I heard a song for the first time and instantly felt it to be among the most beautiful ever.

As a die-hard fan, bursting with excitement, I found myself saying something along the lines of: “I’ve got something special for you! I’m not entirely sure about it, but I believe this could be the first single. Let me play it for you!
Gomez said she was in awe ‘just hearing her say those little thoughts and just listening to it.’
She added about her longtime friend: ‘Yeah, she is a chameleon. She’s incredible.’
