Taylor Swift's nemesis Scooter Braun has unexpected reaction to Donald Trump's 'hate' comment after the singer endorsed Kamala Harris

As a longtime music enthusiast who has witnessed the evolution of pop culture, I must admit that I find the recent political maneuvers between Taylor Swift and Donald Trump fascinating. Coming from a generation where politics was often left at the doorstep of entertainment, it’s intriguing to see such a powerful figure as Taylor Swift wading into the murky waters of American politics.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I find myself aligning with Taylor Swift’s perspective regarding the upcoming presidential election. In response to recent statements made by Donald Trump, I stand with her sentiments, expressing my thoughts in a social media post.

On Sunday, the 43-year-old talent manager posted a reaction to the potential Republican presidentially candidate’s remarks about Taylor Swift, aged 34, on his Instagram Stories, following Trump’s criticism of her on his social network, Truth Social.

On a particularly heated Sunday, I couldn’t help but vent my frustration: “I can’t STAND Taylor Swift!” This eruption of emotion came after the melodious sensation endorsed Kamala Harris, following a debate performance of mine that didn’t quite hit the mark.

Regardless of the long-standing disputes between Swift and Braun over his acquisition of many of her previous records, the recording executive seemed to support her against Trump, all the while reinforcing his own political stance in favor of the upcoming presidential election.

Brush it aside, Donald,” Braun penned in his message, attaching a snapshot of Trump’s initial post.

He made it clear that he was supporting the Democrat in the race by adding ‘Kamala 2024’ below, along with an American flag emoji.

During the turbulent election, Braun didn’t make many public political statements; however, he had earlier disclosed his support for Harris by endorsing her.

On August 3rd, he posted several pictures on Instagram featuring him alongside Kamala Harris, expressing his endorsement for her.

He expressed his sense of honor in referring to Harris as his “friend,” and he pointed out that he had supported candidates from both Republican and Democratic parties in the past. However, he believed that Harris would be the most suitable candidate to advocate for “everyone” and to take a firm stance against “antisemitism and all forms of intolerance.

It came as quite a surprise that Braun appeared to back Swift and ridicule Trump, given his past actions of acquiring Swift’s former master recordings which she had frequently criticized him for.

In 2019, a company called Braun, which had the backing of several private investment groups, acquired Big Machine Records – previously owned by Taylor Swift.

A year earlier, she had jumped ship for Republic Records to put out her future releases.

Through the acquisition, Braun obtained the rights to all master recordings by Taylor Swift, which included albums released until 2017’s “Reputation”. However, it was her 2019 album “Lover” that marked her first collaboration with Republic Records.

As the owner, he would be able to profit from sales and streaming of her early albums.

Later on, Taylor Swift asserted that she tried to acquire ownership of her original records, but Big Machine Records prevented her by only presenting a deal where she would have to produce a fresh album under Big Machine for each instance she wished to reclaim her early master recordings, starting with her debut album from 2006 titled “Taylor Swift.

In response, Taylor Swift decided to re-release all albums managed by Braun in expanded ‘Taylor’s Version’ editions, hoping that fans would buy these new versions instead and stream only her re-recorded songs. This move aims to redirect the revenue that was originally meant for Braun away from him.

To date, Taylor Swift has experienced significant success with her ‘Taylor’s Version’ series of albums. These releases have proven to be on par with her latest studio albums, contributing significantly to her breaking numerous sales records.

Critics have also praised the updated editions, noting a difference in Swift’s voice being more refined and mature as opposed to the original recordings.

So far, Taylor doesn’t appear to have reacted to Scooter’s Instagram post referencing her.

5 days following Swift’s announcement on Instagram about her intent to vote for Harris in November, Trump posted his counter viewpoint on Truth Social.

Additionally, she motivated her vast audience to conduct their own investigation regarding the election and enroll to vote using a link she posted to vote.gov on her Instagram story as part of her grid post.

Trump’s post on Sunday is his most furious response to Swift so far.

Following the debate on Tuesday, Trump was queried regarding his response to Swift’s endorsement, to which he responded straightforwardly: “I am completely unaware.

Approximately 337,000 individuals, as recently as this week, tapped on the shared link within Taylor Swift’s post. This number is minuscule compared to her massive follower base of 284 million.

Over 11 million individuals expressed appreciation for the picture Swift shared, which featured herself alongside one of her three cats, Benji (named after the fictional character, Benjamin Button).

Swift signed her backing of Harris with: ‘Childless Cat Lady’

The remark refers to Trump’s vice-presidential nominee Senator J.D. Vance, who in a 2021 conversation with Tucker Carlson, described the United States as being governed by Democrats, wealthy elites, and a group of childless women who are unhappy with their own lives and decisions, and thus aim to make the rest of the country equally unhappy.

The line was widely criticized by unmarried women across the country.

Although it’s been suggested that Taylor Swift entering the political arena during this election might significantly alter the outcome in November, current polling data indicates that her endorsement may carry limited impact on the overall race.

According to a recent survey by ABC News and Ipsos, only 6% of Americans expressed that the endorsement from the singer-songwriter would make them lean towards voting for Harris.

13% of people state that it decreases their likelihood of supporting President Harris, although it’s uncertain whether these individuals were genuinely contemplating voting for her initially; on the other hand, 81% claim that it has no impact whatsoever.
