Taylor Swift’s friend Gigi Hadid reveals why she and Travis Kelce didn’t attend Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show
As a long-time follower and admirer of both Gigi Hadid and Taylor Swift, I must say I was a bit disappointed to see that Taylor wasn’t at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show this year. However, after hearing Gigi clear up the mystery, it makes sense that they would have a quiet night in together before Travis had to head back to Kansas City for practice.
2024’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was mine absolute highlight of the year, and Gigi Hadid stole the spotlight! However, it left me utterly bewildered when my beloved friend Taylor Swift wasn’t there to share the moment with us all. I can’t help but wonder what might have kept her away from this fabulous event.
But Gigi Hadid cleared up the mystery of the missing pop star and her boyfriend Travis Kelce in a short interview with Entertainment Tonight before the show.
The runway sensation, aged 29, disclosed that her partners – singer aged 34 and football player aged 35 – probably spent a peaceful evening at home together before Travis needed to return to Kansas City. Her boyfriend Bradley Cooper was unable to attend the fashion show as well.
Following a week off with a bye, Travis needs to return to training sessions later this week, as he prepares for the upcoming matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers scheduled for Sunday, October 20th.
The model mused that, given another night, Taylor might join them on the couch. This is merely my conjecture, she added.

As a lifestyle expert, I can tell you that the couple, who could easily be identified as lovebirds, were quite near the venue of the event, which happened to be Brooklyn. You see, prior to Travis’s return to the Midwest, they had been enjoying their time in the bustling city of New York City.
Despite Taylor not being physically present, her influence was palpable as she affected Bella Hadid’s sister during her runway walk at the long-awaited return of the Victoria’s Secret fashion show after almost six years.
During her Entertainment Tonight interview, Gigi playfully hinted, “Tonight, there’s something on the runway that I haven’t seen before, at least not here.
She learned a specific part from Taylor during her tour, which Taylor demonstrated during one of her rehearsals by saying, “I’ll show you how we do this.” Now, she is employing what she learned during the performance tonight, as she implied.
Although she left fans guessing, they were quick to offer possible explanations on social media.
Some people suggested that Gigi could mimic the unique walk showcased by Taylor in her song Style, whereas others believed she might perform the Bejeweled dance routine during her stage performance.
Additionally, even the renowned model didn’t get to witness her partner, Bradley Cooper, cheering her on from the crowd that day.
During our conversation, she mentioned that the actor and director portraying Maestro wouldn’t be present at the performance.
Tonight, he won’t be going out; instead, he’s looking after things at home, which Gigi referred to as his ‘dad responsibilities’ for the night.

Gigi personally has a four-year-old daughter named Khai, who she co-parents with her ex, the previous member of One Direction, Zayn Malik.
Last month, a source disclosed to DailyMail.com that Bradley intends to pop the question to Gigi, and he’s already obtained approval from her family, friends, and even her child.
Additionally, they pointed out that the girls often spent a lot of time with each other, making it so that Lea was almost like an older sibling to Khai.
According to an informant, Bradley and Gigi are determined to create a harmonious, combined family unit.
