In an interview with The Guardian as he promotes his latest movie, “The Brutalist,” Joe Alwyn, aged 33 and often speculated to be Taylor Swift’s partner, shared some insights about their six-year relationship that has been largely kept private.

The duo made an effort to maintain their relationship private whenever they could, despite this, Taylor Swift’s followers speculate that the songs “Gorgeous” from the 2017 album Reputation and “London Boy” from the 2019 album Lover are tributes to a British actor.

The movie had a restricted initial screening on December 20, aimed at qualifying it for award nominations.

Alwyn has two new, but interestingly related films in his queue.

He completed his project on Hamnet, inspired by Maggie O’Farrell’s top-selling book, which explores the story of William Shakespeare’s son’s demise at the tender age of eleven, through a work of fiction.

In the movie version directed by Academy Award-winning director Chloe Zhao, Alwyn is set to portray the bard’s brother-in-law. Additionally, he will take on the role of Laertes in a fresh interpretation of Hamlet, with Riz Ahmed playing the Danish prince.
