On Instagram on Friday, Taylor Swift’s longtime friend Abigail Anderson shared the exciting news that she and her husband, Charles Berard, had become parents for the first time.
The TV personality, aged 34, who recently announced her pregnancy by quoting a song from a Grammy winner, has been acquainted with Taylor Swift, equally 34, since their teenage years, which was around when they were both fifteen.
In 2022, Anderson got married to the CEO of Celero Commerce, and recently shared a monochrome picture on social media showing their newborn son grasping onto his mother’s fingers.
In the caption of the post, she typed out to her 483k fans and followers, ‘Baby boy decided to join us a few weeks earlier than expected.’

In the heat of July last month, I proudly shared the delightful news that my cherished partner, Charles, and I are about to welcome our first bundle of joy into our lives.
In that moment, she shared a picture on social media, capturing herself savoring a box of Cheez-It crackers while showcasing her expanding belly in an open-front black blouse.
‘I’m having his babyyyy…,’ she added in the caption of the image, followed by a blue heart emoji.
Anderson drew inspiration from the lyrics of Taylor’s song titled “Daddy I Love Him” on their recent album, The Tortured Poets Department, which was released in April this year.
On stage, the artist was vocalizing lyrics that went something like this: ‘Now I’m sprinting while my dress is undone/Yelling ‘Daddy, I adore him!’/Carrying his child/Not really, but you ought to witness your expressions.’
In October 2022, Abigail got married to Berard, and she shared happy photos from their wedding on social media. The images captured her beaming with joy in a white wedding dress alongside her new spouse.
Swift and Anderson forged a strong friendship shortly after attending the same high school at age fifteen.
Back in 2008, my dearest friend played a pivotal role in sparking the creativity behind one of Taylor Swift’s most heartfelt songs, Fifteen. This beautiful piece can be found on her iconic Fearless album.
The song contains these lines: ‘A girl with red hair, named Abigail, sits beside you in class/Before long, you become the best of friends, sharing laughter/You poke fun at girls who believe they’re trendy and hip/We’ll escape this place as soon as we possibly can.’
Apart from their collaborations, Abigail has appeared in several music videos by Taylor, including “Fifteen” and “Picture to Burn” (released in 2008).
2009 saw Taylor Swift discuss her friendship with Anderson during an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
However, it was during my first day of school as a freshman that I first encountered my dearest friend, Abigail. We shared the same table in our English class.
Taylor too remembered, ‘Her dream was to become a swimmer and secure a college scholarship for swimming, while mine was to become a singer. Today, she’s swimming on a scholarship at Kansas, and I’m busy with my singing career.’
Swift and Anderson have also appeared on each other’s social media pages over the years.
At the end of last year, during December, the acclaimed musician posted a collection of special photos on Instagram, celebrating her 34th birthday party.
In one of the captivating snapshots shared in the latest post, I found myself beaming from ear-to-ear while standing tucked away between Taylor and Blake Lively.
It seems Swift’s close friend is also in favor of her relationship with NFL star, Travis Kelce, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Last November, she expressed appreciation for an Instagram video published by E! News that included a clip of Taylor modifying the lyrics of her song “Karma” to reference Kelce.
On Thursday, the singer made a comeback on the stage at Wembley Stadium, after the Vienna terror incident and the unfortunate stabbing in Southport, UK, had occurred.
She has scheduled four extra shows at Wembley, starting this coming Friday and ending on August 20th.
Starting in October, the star is scheduled to return to the United States for performances in cities like Miami and New Orleans.
2023’s The Eras Tour, launched in March of the previous year, will conclude with performances in Toronto and Vancouver. The tour’s last show is scheduled for December 8th.
