Taylor Swift urges fans to vote in the US election in Instagram post marking the final show in the American leg of her Eras tour… despite snubbing Kamala Harris rally for Chiefs game

As a lifelong Swiftie, I can’t help but marvel at Taylor’s captivating journey and the magnetic power she wields over her fans. The Eras Tour has been nothing short of an exhilarating spectacle that transcends music and dives deep into the emotional fabric of millions of us who have grown up with her melodies as a constant companion.

On Instagram, Taylor Swift encouraged her followers to exercise their right to vote during the ongoing U.S. election, following the conclusion of the American phase of her Eras tour on Tuesday.

34-year-old artist posted a series of pictures from her Indianapolis performance, along with a significant message for her followers.

Although Taylor begged for a vote, she opted out of Kamala Harris’ final election rally on Monday evening, choosing instead to back her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, at his Kansas Chiefs game.

In the game, Taylor had her mother Andrea by her side, and they both cheered as the Chiefs emerged triumphant.

In a post on Instagram, she expressed: “The conclusion of our US performances on The Eras Tour couldn’t have been any more enchanting.

I’ve just experienced an incredible moment with around 207,000 wonderful individuals in Indianapolis. Their affection, enthusiasm, and happiness were overwhelmingly showered upon us.

Reflecting on the past weekend, I can’t help but anticipate the moments when I’ll look back with a smile, as the entire experience felt surreal, almost like wandering through a beautiful dreamland.

I’d like to express my gratitude to all of you who attended our recent three shows in America! As a friendly yet crucial reminder, tomorrow marks the U.S. Election day, so don’t forget to cast your vote!

Only 9 performances remain on The Eras Tour, and it’s hard to believe we’ve reached the final stretch! I can hardly wait to reunite with my cherished Canadian fans for six upcoming shows in Toronto! Can’t wait to see you there!

The record-breaking tour, currently the biggest money-maker in history with earnings exceeding one billion dollars, kicked off as early as March 2023, in Glendale, Arizona.

The upcoming series of nine concerts marks the end of our tour in Canada. First, we have six performances lined up in Toronto, and then we’ll wrap it up with three more in Vancouver.

In September, Taylor publicly endorsed Kamala, following a heated debate on ABC during which Trump claimed migrants eat pets and suggested Democrats intended to kill newborns in their ninth month of pregnancy.

There was much anticipation as people eagerly awaited Taylor’s opinion on the election, having supported Joe Biden in 2020.

In my endorsement, I playfully took aim at the Republican party, subtly referencing their views. To add some humor to my statement, I included a picture of my feline companion, which was somewhat of a jab at the Republican vice presidential nominee, J.D. Vance, who previously mocked ‘childless cat lovers.’

Kamala supporters took the chant to heart and formed groups of cat ladies for Harris.

The singer said in her post that she was disturbed by false reports she had endorsed Trump.

In the 2024 Presidential Election, I am proudly choosing to cast my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, two exceptional leaders who I believe will guide our nation towards a brighter future.
