Taylor Swift said she and Travis Kelce needs some privacy.
Taylor Swift recently mentioned on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show that she’s working on maintaining some privacy in her relationships, and she’s happy they already share a lot of private moments.
The singer previously alluded to her relationship with the football player in her song “Wood” from her album, “The Life Of A Showgirl.” In the song, she praised his maturity, saying he helped her gain a new perspective.
She also said she will keep ‘moments’ from Kelce’s proposal private.
The pop superstar, age 35, shared on Instagram that her football player boyfriend proposed in August. The post quickly became one of the most popular ever on the platform, but the couple plans to keep some details of the proposal private.

As someone who’s seen a lot of beautiful moments, let me tell you, when Travis Kelce proposed to Taylor Swift, it was truly special. The artist behind the ‘Fate of Ophelia’ painting shared that that exact moment will always be just for the two of them – a private, cherished memory. It’s a lovely sentiment, isn’t it? Some moments are simply meant to be held close.
Even so, Taylor shared that she and Travis are thrilled to announce their happy news with their fans.
Taylor Swift explained that both she and Kanye West lead very public lives and work in the entertainment industry, which helps them take things in stride.
Taylor’s new album, ‘The Life of a Showgirl,’ came out last week and has received very different reviews from critics. However, the singer says she’s embracing all the varied reactions.
In an interview with The Zane Lowe Show, she explained that she’s used to the unpredictable nature of the entertainment industry. She said that any mention of her or her new album during its first week is a positive thing.
I really respect that everyone has their own opinion about art – I don’t think anyone needs to justify how they feel. As performers, we just want to reflect what people are feeling and experiencing.
Elsewhere in the interview, Swift discussed how her music is often reflective of her state of mind.

As a huge fan, I always feel like an album is a really personal snapshot of an artist’s life. What’s happening *to them* definitely comes through in the music, and that’s what makes it so relatable. It really struck me when the artist said that an album is a ‘wild way to look at yourself’ – it’s so true! You can always tell what they’re going through when you listen, and it makes connecting with their music so much more meaningful.
Taylor also reassured her fans that she is in the music business for the long-term.
She explained that this project is a permanent part of her artistic journey. She’s very focused on how her music will be remembered and is confident in the quality of her work. She believes everything she’s creating fits perfectly with the overall vision of her ‘Showgirl’ concept.
