In the upcoming 2024 film “It Ends With Us,” which is currently facing legal issues, Taylor Swift’s voice could make an appearance, but it’s been confirmed by her representative that this is the extent of her participation in the movie.

According to various news sources like TMZ, it’s said that Swift was served a subpoena by the legal team of Justin Baldoni, the director and star of the film, in his lawsuit against Blake Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and Lively’s publicist. This is all part of the ongoing dispute between Lively and the others.

Last year towards the end, a legal dispute flared up when Lively claimed that Baldoni, together with his associates, instigated a defamatory campaign against her following her allegations of on-set sexual harassment. In response, Baldoni filed a cross-claim, asserting that Lively’s accusations are unfounded and have inflicted significant damage on his career, reputation, and personal life, thereby intensifying the heated legal battle.

The statement went on to say that while Taylor Swift was one of 20 artists who licensed a song for the movie, this subpoena is being used more to attract attention through sensationalized headlines than to address the real issues in the case. In other words, they’re using Taylor Swift’s name to generate tabloid fodder rather than focusing on the facts of the matter.
