Taylor Swift plans to pay tribute to Liam Payne during opening night of Eras Tour

The 34-year-old hitmaker is reportedly distraught about the former One Direction member’s death.

An insider told DailyMail.com that she feels deeply saddened by it, as she was close friends with those boys, and she held a great deal of affection for Liam.

31-year-old Payne passed away on October 16th, a Wednesday, following a fall from his room at the Casa Sur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Earlier this month, it was said that the popular singer made a visit to the Latin American nation to watch Niall Horan’s performance at his concert.

Several witnesses reported that Payne had fallen from his room shortly after 5pm (ART).

The local police reported that they went to the hotel following information about a potentially intoxicated man exhibiting aggressive behavior, possibly due to substance use.

Spokesperson for the city’s emergency medical services, Alberto Crescenti, reported that Payne fell approximately 40 meters, resulting in critical injuries from which he could not recover.

At precisely 5:04 PM local time, I received a chilling alert about someone found in the secluded courtyard of Casa Sur.

‘At 5.11pm an ambulance arrived and the man was certified dead.

Later on, we discovered that he was actually a well-known musician. Regrettably, the wounds from his fall were severe enough to cause his death, and there was no chance for reviving him.

He shared a further photo with Kate captioned: ‘Quality time.’

Payne leaves behind a son, Bear, age seven, whom he shared with pop sensation Cherl Cole.

Sadly, the final post on Payne’s Instagram was made on May 29th, honoring the late documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock by reposting a photo from 2013 that included his bandmates from One Direction.

At the premiere of their documentary “One Direction: This Is Us,” the band members – Payne, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik – were pictured together with Spurlock as they posed for a photo.

The post was captioned: ‘Rest in peace Morgan Spurlock it was a pleasure working with you.’ 

In 2008, Payne first embarked on his journey towards fame when he tried out for X Factor. He left a lasting impression on the judges with his rendition of “Fly Me To The Moon,” originally sung by Frank Sinatra, although he ultimately did not make it past the competition.

Instead, in 2010, he decided to re-enter the singing scene by auditioning once more for the contest. Not long after, he gained popularity and became a member of the band One Direction.
