Taylor Swift pal Ice Spice reveals unexpected trait about pop star’s relationship with Travis Kelce
They may be one of the biggest Hollywood couples to emerge in recent years.
However, despite their glamorous appearances, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are very similar to ordinary couples, asserts a friend of theirs.
During a chat with Entertainment Tonight at the Kids Choice Awards, Ice Spice shared that the pair they’re working with possess a delightful and playful wit.
Inquired about an unexpected characteristic in their bond, Ice, aged 25, confessed that they possess a great sense of humor.
‘They’re probably some of my funniest friends,’ the Barbie World singer said.
‘They’re funny, you guys. That’s the scoop,’ she said. ‘They’re like us.’
Since 2023, Swift and Kelce, who are both 35 years old, have been in a relationship. More recently, whispers about their secret marriage have arisen following the distribution of an apparent wedding invitation online that addresses them as a couple.
Ellie Nottoli, who is involved in planning weddings, posted a picture of the invitation sent to Taylor and Travis for a ceremony they were originally invited to attend as guests. However, they ultimately decided not to be part of the wedding celebration.
Instead of having each name separately written on the envelope, it was addressed as ‘Taylor and Travis Kelce’ together.
Immediately, spectators noted that such an event could transpire solely when the pair shares a common surname – suggesting they exchanged vows privately, away from the public eye.
Fans of Taylor Swift were buzzing with excitement, speculating if their beloved singer might have taken on a new identity, Taylor Kelce, without revealing any specifics about it.
However, it’s unclear if Taylor has paid attention to the rumors or not, but she appeared to quieten them indirectly during an unexpected visit she made to the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Florida.
While speaking to a patient, Taylor was asked why she was in Florida in the first place.
Later, Taylor explained, “I decided to pop by since my boyfriend is working here. I just wanted to check on you, kind of unexpectedly drop-in, if that makes sense?
Clearly, the reference to a ‘boyfriend’ served as undeniable evidence that Taylor has not updated her status from ‘single’ in any crucial records she possesses.
Taylor did not sport a wedding ring at the Stanley Cup Final she attended with Kelce some days after rumors surfaced, but rather donned a dazzling ‘TNT’ bracelet – an abbreviation for ‘Travis and Taylor,’ a piece crafted by her significant other last year.
In early 2024, Tracy Morgan (Kelce) unexpectedly gifted Chantelle Swift with a tennis bracelet and an identical one for himself.
In yesterday’s match, I didn’t observe Kelce sporting the identical bracelet that Taylor usually wears. Quite intriguing!
It seems fans spotted another gesture from Swift expressing her affection for Kelce, as they noticed she was wearing a double ‘T’ diamond ring on her index finger.
