Taylor Swift is supported by BFFs Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds at sold-out Eras Tour concert in New Orleans

As a long-time admirer of Taylor Swift and her captivating performances, I must say that it is truly awe-inspiring to witness the meticulous planning and collaboration that goes into each aspect of her tours, particularly her footwear choices. Having attended numerous concerts in my time, I can attest to the fact that the right pair of shoes can make all the difference in bringing a stage performance to life.

On a Friday evening in New Orleans, actress Blake Lively and actor Ryan Reynolds were present at the performance of their good friend Taylor Swift during her Eras Tour.

After being married for 12 years, the pair was noticed dancing among the crowd at Caesars Superdome. Excited by their lively performance, one spectator captured the moment on video and shared it on social media.

Previously, the 37-year-old actress from “It Ends With Us” and the 48-year-old actor known for his roles in “Deadpool” and “Wolverine” were seen arriving in Louisiana accompanied by their families.

The pair share daughters James, nine, Inez, eight, Betty, five, and son Olin, one.

Previously, Lively and Reynolds caught two of the 34-year-old music artist’s lively performances in Madrid during the summer months.

They brought their daughters one night and enjoyed a child-free date night at a second performance.

In September 2023, Blake brought along her two oldest children to Taylor’s Philadelphia tour stop.

In the midst of her act, the musical star paused briefly to greet her distinguished visitors, seeming to say “Hello, James! Hello, Inez!

In Taylor’s song, Betty, she pays tribute to Blake and Ryan’s little girl. Before launching into the performance, the popular artist would shout out their kids’ names.

Swift and Lively have a long and close friendship that dates back to 2015. 

Before her three-night performance, Swift was warmly welcomed in New Orleans, with the event starting before the weekend commenced.

The Karma hitmaker and her fandom, dubbed Swifties, stay connected through friendship bracelets.

To honor the continuing motif, the Superdome in New Orleans is decorated with a massive friendship band that displays: ‘Taylor Swift, The Eras Tour.’ (Informal version)

In early 2022, famed designer Christian Louboutin revealed that he crafted over 250 pairs of shoes to contribute to the staging of the Eras Tour.

In an interview with Vogue, this shoe designer shared his approach when designing for performers: “It’s more effective to begin with a wide variety of styles, eventually narrowing down the options to the designs that appear most suitable for the stage.

It was additionally mentioned that he conceived a total of 60 new shoe designs, which were intended for the pop star’s use during the European stretch of her highly successful tour.

Hundreds of strass crystals were used in the collection and Louboutin noted, ‘I’ve learned a few magic tricks to make sure the silhouette still looks great with shoes being 100% easy to perform in.’

In the early days of May, following the release of her The Tortured Poets Department album in April, I had the privilege of attending a concert where Swift unveiled an entirely fresh segment.

As tunes were added, so was new footwear; among them, a unique pair of booties modeled after vintage Louboutin designs.

According to Louboutin, Joseph Cassell and Taylor played a crucial role in conveying various styles of fashion and designing shoes that combined the vintage genre they were known for with a contemporary, fresh look.

At her May show in Paris, Taylor shared that she’s been developing the Tortured Poets Department segment for the tour since the year 2023.

Approximately eight to nine months back, we initiated plotting a surprise for you. When we were granted a two-month break during the Eras Tour, instead of taking a proper rest, we continued working diligently without any pause.

After resuming our rehearsals immediately, I’d like to express my appreciation to my team – the crew, the dancers, and the band,” she stated between pauses in the music.

The Tortured Poets Department was released on April 19 and is Taylor’s eleventh studio album.

The singer’s tour will wrap in Vancouver on December 8.
