She released her twelfth album, *The Life of a Showgirl*, her album release event was a box office hit, and she addressed questions about her engagement and how marriage might affect her career. But before all that, she celebrated her friend Selena Gomez’s wedding to Benny Blanco. A new video of Taylor sweetly admiring Selena at the wedding is going viral and fans are loving it.
We already knew Taylor Swift traveled to see her longtime bestie Selena Gomez get married, as she arrived with white box in hand for the rehearsal dinner at the pricey Santa Barbara resort and reportedly gave a speech at the September 27 reception before jetting back for Travis Kelce’s game. Now, thanks to Gomez, we also know what it’s like to have the Eras Tour star in your corner for one of the biggest days of your life. The bride shared to Instagram:

Wouldn’t it be amazing to have someone as supportive as Taylor Swift in your corner? She was clearly overwhelmed with joy – and amusement – watching Selena Gomez wear her wedding veil, switching between shocked expressions and bursts of laughter.
We saw some photos of the dress Taylor Swift wore to her best friend’s wedding. She wore a beautiful, long, sparkling gown in a subtle color. Later, at the reception, she changed into a short black dress, as seen in a photo Selena Gomez shared of them hugging. In the photo, Taylor’s large engagement ring is clearly visible!
It’s so heartwarming to see Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez support each other! Taylor was incredibly sweet praising the bride, and it was really thoughtful of Selena to share a message about her friend’s new album even while on her honeymoon. Selena’s post said:

Even as the performer was giving interviews about her new album, Taylor Swift was still thinking about Selena Gomez. On October 6th, she shared this with the hosts of Sirius XM radio, continuing to express her affection and support.
Selena was absolutely radiant – truly the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen, and especially stunning as a bride. She looked so happy, and it was wonderful to see, because you always want good things for people you care about.
It’s so sweet to see Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce together, and Selena Gomez finding happiness with Benny Blanco. But honestly, I’m even more fascinated by their friendship and how much they lift each other up – is that strange?
